Happy June! Hope everyone has great plans for this beautiful day!
So FH is going golfing all morning, and I'm going to the beach with two girl friends, then we're going out on a date tonight.
Where is yours and FH 'go-to' date night spot? Is it a restaurant...what's the name? Is it a place? Park? Bar?
Our favorite spot is a nice little restaurant in Long Island City called Riverview. It has an amazing view of the Manhattan skyline - so romantic. We'd go there for dinner and just walk around the park after and relax.
Now, our favorite quick 'go-to' is called Brassa in Mineola. We both love Rodizio so so much and you really eat like kings. There's so much food! I can't wait to go tonight!

Our most frequent date night is dinner and a movie. Usually at different places. But we do have a go to restaurant in the city. Its in the east village and its called three of cups. So yummy.

Happy first of the month!! Today we have our friend's wedding at the Carltun & can't wait to celebrate their union!!
Our go-to spot would be a Thai restaurant in Astoria called Wave Thai or we always go to the cafes on 30th Ave like Avenue & Grand..they're an awesome spot for a nice night out, you can sit outside have a drink or what i always have..an iced frappe! So funny you say Riverview, because we love just parking the car & walking by the pier & just sitting on the benches..that's where we went on one of our first dates!

we loveee sushi! if we are staying in we call our favorite local place to deliver.. sushi in your pjs?? yes please!!!
for going out we love anywhere Spanish/Mexican with sangria for me :) FH and I are big foodies and I don't think we could pin point one place in particular :)

We love the library cafe in farmingdale or pancho villa in huntington. Or if we're feeling lazy we love the 2 for $35 at Chilis haha

I'm in the UES of manhattan so we tend to when the fh is here stay in our little bubble- so we usually do Mexican! We both are big skinny margarita people

We have a lot of spots, depending on what area of the Island we're spending time in. At home though, we love Sonoma Grill in Holbrook or Baja Grill in Smithtown. There are so many different bars we like, but one of our favorites is Portly Villager in Sayville.

OMG! FH and I refer to the Portly Villager as 'our go-to bar'! We love that place..
For date night, our go-to place is Port Jeff (we had our first date there, and love walking by the docks).. I love Salsa Salsa, and FH usually gets Wendy's.

There are tons of awesome spots in brooklyn where we live. for dates we tend to lean towards gino's - awesome italian place.

Mangoes in Bethpage! I've checked in there at least 15 times on yelp in the past 6 months. Margaritas are strong and food is delicious! Just got home from there, actually!

Our go-to restaurant is Trattoria Lucia in Bellerose. Its our absolute fave!
Our go-to date is dinner/drinks & an Islanders game. In the summer we go to a few yankees game because FH is a fan.

If we're planning a night out we love to go to sporting events or to Broadway plays. Our favorite restaurants in the city are the London and BLT Steak, but we usually only go once or twice a year because they're pretty pricey.
Our favorite cheap date nights we call 'Brewvie' nights where we just hang out, play games drink beers or wine and watch movies together lol.
