QOTD 6/12/13

Today is 400 days until my big day!! That being said today's question of the day has a few parts

1. What date did you get engaged on?

2. How long is your engagement

3. Do you feel like it's too long, too short or just right?

1. I got engaged on 11/18/12

2. My engagement is EXACTLY 20 months long. I believe I joined this site with about 590 days left

3. I feel like it's longer than I would have liked it to be BUT I am a guidance counselor, I work in a school and I knew I wanted a summer wedding for the weather and having 4 weeks off before hand to do the last minute things and then time off for the honeymoon. I can't wait to hit my 1 year mark so each holiday, birthday etc has only one left. This summer would of been TOO SHORT for me with my preferred vendors, saving and planning etc

Our engagement will be 20 months and 8 days

I personally would have liked it to be shorter, BUT I wanted a summer wedding and there was no way I wanted to plan a wedding in 7 months to have it in 2013, so 2014 it was!

2. A little less than 14 months

3. At first it felt like just enough time to get everything done, but now I am wishing it was sooner! I am just too excited for everything that comes along with my wedding day... most importantly, becoming his wife :)

I love the month of October and always wanted a Fall wedding but the thought of saving money for the wedding and planning it in only a few months was unrealistic. I would have liked a shorter engagement because my wedding is still so far away but it'll go by fast ..hopefully

2. Appx. 20 months --> FH wanted a fall wedding so it was either 8 months or 1 year 8 months.

3. Too long! Looking back I probably could have planned this for October 2013. But I guess what's the rush, we are enjoying being engaged! And time is going relatively quickly so I am sure it will be here before we know it. Just want to be his wife already!

We got engaged March 3, 2013.

Our engagement will be just over 16 months

At first I thought it was a long engagement but the way time is flying (and I have been GAINING weight instead of LOSING weight)I think it is perfect.

1. What date did you get engaged on? Not exactly sure. I wanna say 9/18/12. It was kind of an agreement, a la Carrie and Big in SATC movie. Didn't get the ring until October.

2. How long is your engagement So far 9 months. Will be 18 when we finally do this thing.

3. Do you feel like it's too long, too short or just right?

For me just right. First marriage, the engagement was just over a month. I was pregnant.

How exciting!!

- My engagement is 1 year & 4 months
- I think the timing was just right! A little over a year to get everything done..I actually wanted a Sept wedding but May is our anniversary month so we figured that would be a perfect time.

Our engagement is about 20 months. It seemed like the perfect amount of time to save money up and plan, but now I feel like its sooooo far away still lol.

For us its still the perfect amount of time because we wouldn't have been able to afford it sooner. But I just can't wait to marry FH! lol

1. We got engaged on 4/13/12 - Friday the 13th!

2. Our wedding is on 7/3/14, so we will have been engaged for 2 years and almost 3 months.

3. It's a little bit longer than I wanted, but only because I'm so excited for the big day to be here! I am glad we have a longer engagement because it gave me the opportunity to start planning early and have my top choice of all vendors. From September-June, FH really can't go on appointments and stuff with me because he's so busy with work, so I needed to start 2 summers ahead with booking vendors.

1. Engaged on 2/14/12.

2. 1 year, 11 months, and 10 days. (I think. I'm SO bad at math!)

3. Just right. Some days I feel like it's been too long, and I'm so eager, but the anticipation is definitely building and I really can't wait. I appreciate that we had a long engagement and had extra time to plan and save money.

Wow looks like I got engaged the latest

1. We got engaged on 03/30/13.

2. Our engagement will be a little less than 17 months.

3. Honestly, both Adam and I never wanted a fancy wedding, so we feel this is too long. We always joke about going to Town Hall and just getting married. However, since we are planning the wedding, I think 17 months is just about right so that we don't get overwhelmed with all the planning.

3. I honestly feel like it is the PERFECT length of time. Enough to not feel rushed but also enough to not feel like it has been forever.

3. I feel like the length of time is perfect. We got to relax in the beginning and just enjoy being engaged. Also we have to save since we are paying for the whole wedding AND my sister is getting married 7 months before us. It all worked out :)

3. At the time we started planning, 2 years seemed great. Now that almost everything is done, time is DRAGGING!
