Today is 400 days until my big day!! That being said today's question of the day has a few parts
1. What date did you get engaged on?
2. How long is your engagement
3. Do you feel like it's too long, too short or just right?
1. I got engaged on 11/18/12
2. My engagement is EXACTLY 20 months long. I believe I joined this site with about 590 days left
3. I feel like it's longer than I would have liked it to be BUT I am a guidance counselor, I work in a school and I knew I wanted a summer wedding for the weather and having 4 weeks off before hand to do the last minute things and then time off for the honeymoon. I can't wait to hit my 1 year mark so each holiday, birthday etc has only one left. This summer would of been TOO SHORT for me with my preferred vendors, saving and planning etc

We got engaged New Years. So our engagement is 14 months, which is 14 months too long :(. Seriously though, it's a good amount of time to get everything done.

We got engaged in Christmas 2012, our engagement is around 22 months long.. I feel like its just around the right amount of time to save money, but I am so worried I'm going to book everything and be so anxious bc everything's done! Lol

1. engaged 12/12/12 2. engagement is going to be a little over 17 months 3. I think it is just the right amount of time for us. We have time to make decisions but it isn't too long where I feel like it is never going to come.

1. Engaged 10/25/12 2. Our engagement will be 19 months and 5 days. 3. Just as a lot of other brides have said, we wanted a summer wedding so it was either 7 months or 19 months to plan. Plus I am in grad school part-time and will graduate next spring a week before our wedding.

1. we got engaged 8/10/12 2. when we get married, 12/6/14, we will have been engaged 2 years, 3 months. 3. for me- this is wayyyy to long!!! lol we have been dating 10 years already!!! lol BUT...to have the wedding of our dreams, and not put anything on credit cards, we needed a little longer to make payments, plus since my parents are paying half, we wanted to give them plenty of time for their portion too!!! :)
can't wait to be married!

1. We got engaged 10/21/2012 2. We'll be engaged a couple of days past 15 months. 3. I would have preferred a shorter engagement but I think it was perfect for us. We realized we couldn't afford a fall wedding so we settled on a winter wedding and it gave us a couple of extra months to save up. So in the end, I think it'll be perfect. Only 226 days to go!

We got engaged on 12/21/13. Our engagement is 18 months and 7 days I think it is a little long but like someone soda earlier I wanted a summer wedding and couldn't do it for this year. This way by the time me and the fh are married we will be livin in the same country! If we did it this summer we wouldn't be !

2. Our engagement will be 20 months and 20 days!
3. I've known since i was 12 that I wanted my wedding to be that week in August.. just didn't know which year until Noah proposed. We didn't want it to be this year since I'm not done with school yet. We didn't want to wait until 2015 since I have a very strict 'no living with someone until we're married' rule and long distance just blows. In some ways it's too short but in other ways it's too long so when it all averages out, it's perfect!
1. 12/13/12 2. exactly 2 years :) 3. If we did our original plan (go on a cruise and have the ship captain marry us and surprise our families with a bbq and me saying 'oh hey, i have his last name now')... we'd already be married. I love him and I just can't wait to be his wife!! I can't wait to start our life together with the same last name <3 Butttt.... we're paying for it ourselves WHILE also saving for a place of our own... so we'll deal. Also... we get the awesome date of 12/13/14 :)

We got engaged on August 18, 2012 and we're getting married on March 22, 2014. Our engagement is a little over a year and a half and I think it's just enough! We have enough time to save the money for the wedding we want and still be able to have somewhat of a social life.
