The majority of people we are inviting are already in long term relationships ... Those who do not are not the type of people to bring a guests 'just because' so we are going to put +1 for everyone... If the single people bring dates then oh well.. I guess that is just the gamble we are taking!!

We are inviting everyone with a guest. I feel that it's the right thing to do. FH & I have been together for 4 years and only got engaged 6 months ago and we don't live together yet. So, if 7 months ago i was invited to a wedding without him i probably wouldn't have gone

Yes this was definitely a pain in the coolie! We talked about it & then just decided that everyone gets invited with a guest & if they decide to bring one fine & if not thats better! lol We didnt want to drive ourselves nuts. But we also do not have many single friends anymore anyway so it kind of made the decision easier.
We feel the same way!

That's a tough one, because our friends are all in their 30's and 40's and there will be very few single people there, so we decided they're all invited with a guest. If they were younger, like early 20's, and there were a bunch of singles, we would NOT do that unless they were in fairly long term relationships, because weddings are good places to meet people anyhow!! We just can't do that to the few singles we have . . . . they'll be miserable when all the couples get up to dance!!

We're inviting everyone with a guest. Our guest list isn't tremendous so there's room for guests plus I wouldnt want to get into awkward conversations.
