Morning Ladies!! It's a beautiful day and I am going to the beach since I haven't gone yet this year! So today's question of the day is-

Are you a city, beach or country girl?

Do you feel like your wedding reflects this?

I think I could really be a little combo of all three but, my heart goes to the country girl! I just love country music (we got engaged at Zac Brown) and I love simple country elegance

That being said my building at East Wind refers to itself as 'country elegance' when describing the setting. It's definitely more glamorous but, my favorite wedding i've been to location wise was in California (my cousins) in a rustic barn. I am not sure how i'll tie country into my theme besides playing some music, idk if i'll necessarily wear cowboy boots. We will be taking our engagement pictures out East due to it's beauty and simplicity!

I am DEFINITELY a country girl! I love country music, love the style, love literally everything about it. I grew up in Manorville/Mastic area and there were many days we would get stuck behind a tractor on the road and I loved it! I love the land, the simplicity, the cooking/baking. I truly love it all.

Our wedding doesn't reflect country. We are having a winter wedding so I (who is not super creative) couldn't figure out how to mix the two. I definitely think in terms of SIMPLE which I think country is all about, our wedding reflects that. We are simple people and our venue is very homey.

I love country music BUT I am not a country girl. I would go crazy living in the country. We have an office in riverhead && that is too country for me

I cant parallel park or figure out a subway system so def not a city girl

I'm def more of a beach, south shore girl!

eta: I hit reply too fast. My wedding doesn't reflect this though, had i been able to afford the 'dream wedding' you all know it would have been a fabulous nautical wedding!

I'm a city girl that hates the city lol.
My wedding is mets themed so I guess it reflects that I'm city.

I'm a beach girl!! I love the sun & enjoying a nice day at the beach!! I would say a lil combo of the 3..because I love the fast pace of the city life & having the slow scenic side of the country side.

I would say my wedding reflects a bit of the country scenic side, since I'll have access to the grounds outdoors..and I'm hoping for a beautiful day to enjoy it

I think I'm a...city girl. I don't know if I could survive living in the city because I need my car and would never be able to physically drive in the city. I hate the beach and the country is too quiet for me.

Our wedding totally does not reflect this--it's more country than anything. It's fall, rustic and has a wine theme tied in!

It's a toss-up between country and beach. We have a house in the Hamptons area and I can't get enough of it out there. There's something so relaxing about lying by the pool or going on the boat. But, my dream home is a farm because I love the simple life, the idea of a community/family time involving taking care of the animals, and the openness of it all.
Our wedding will be much more beach than country though. We're having it at Swan Club so it's open with the gardens. The ceremony room reminds me of a beach house and the tables in our outdoor cocktail area have beach umbrellas. The CPs will have a sand aspect to them and there's water everywhere you look.

I am a country beach girl lol. I love country music, camping, bbqs and big trucks lol. I am not refined in the least. But I also love the beach. I don't get to go as much as I wish I could but I do enjoy it. Our Wedding if for sure Country. We're having a Fourth of July American Rustic BBQ! lol It will be comfortable and relaxed although not tacky. I think that matches FH and I's personalities too.

I'm completely a beach girl. I love the warm weather and the beach. Anytime my fh and I har off we r jet setting to a beach and warm weather. That being said we met and lived in NYC for 3 years together. I still live there. I love the city that u can have anything u want at anytime. I think I will need adjustments when I move to the country in Canada lol.
In regards to the wedding we are havig an outdoor wedding and hopefully cocktail thy will resemble the beach.
Nothing city like at all!

I'm a Long Island Girl. Which I guess makes me a beach girl? I'm a beach girl who doesn't like sand. I like the water.

I love country music but I don't like the farms and all the space.

I HATE the city. Too many people and not enough space and it always smells like hot dogs.

I love the beach. I love that no matter where I've lived on long island (North Babylon, East Northport, Northport, Lake Ronkonkoma and now Brentwood) ... I've always been 20 minutes away from the water. The water has always been my 'happy' place. My dad used to take me all the time with him either fishing or crabbing off the Babylon Docks or down on the beach at Gilgo and Saw Thumb and Captree. I remember crying when they closed the OBI. My aunt had her engagement party at the OBI and I remember telling my mom I wanted to have all my parties there.

My wedding doesn't really reflect it except for the venue. The Mansion shares the grounds with the Maritime Museum and over looks the great south bay. I didn't necessarily NEED waterfront because I figured since we're getting married in December it wouldn't matter.

However if I was doing a summer wedding.. I'd have a nautical wedding all the way just like MrsMango.

I am a mix between beach and country. My HAPPY place is the beach. A friend of mine once saw a picture of me and the background was pitch dark, he said 'I can tell in your smile the beach is nearby' and it was literally in the background just too dark to see. How can someone be sad with warm sand between their toes!? I'm also a country girl at heart. I love burlap and lace, apple baskets, country music, pickups...the list can go on!

Our engagement party (which is in 2.5 hours!!!) reflects my country love!! And my wedding is ON the beach so I feel there is an amazing mix of the two. LUCKILY I have a fantastic FH who just lets me go with my themes!!!

I would have to say that I’m both a country and beach girl. I have a horse in a backyard barn that borders Connetquot Park so I’m all about the country life. One day FH and I would love horse property on Long Island. We don’t want to live in the “real” country because we both don’t want to drive a half hour to the nearest store! I also love country music. My MOH and I are trying to plan a trip to Nashville to go to the Southern Ground Music Festival to see the Zac Brown Band! For about half my life my family lived on a canal on the south shore so we were always out on the bay. My parents also had a house in Fire Island so I spent a lot of summers out there. Also my FH and I used to work out there and most of our friends still do. Actually my MOH is a year round resident of Ocean Beach…yes people actually live on Fire Island in the winter!

My engagement party definitely reflected my beachy side since we had a clambake. As for my wedding it’s not reflecting my love for the country or beach. We are doing a vintage theme!

City or country, definitely!

Our wedding is definitely old glamour and elegance, very classic city!

I think I'm a city girl, I just love NYC.. FH is very mellow and laid-back, so he'd love a place like Seattle or Austin.. I love watching sunsets at the beach though, it calms me..

As for our wedding style, I think we wanted a small, intimate wedding, which would be simple and understated..

I used to be a city girl and I probably could be again but I am a beach girl! Sun and blue skies!! I love country too but it's not really ME. I think our wedding reflects country humbleness but not really the beach lol We're on the water and it will be august but our venue is definitely unique in fitting in with our lives or what we hope our lives to be :)
