Did you take into account the color scheme of your hall when deciding your wedding colors? Did you pick your colors because of the colors of your hall? Your hall because of your colors? Would you change your colors if the colors of your hall changed (ex: new carpet)?

I chose colors based on what looked best on my girls. My original colors (lavender and pale green) looked awful on all the girls who had dark completions, so the colors were changed to burgundy.

we based our colors on the season and i love gerber daisies. Our hall had more of an antique look and we thought that just yellow and red rose petals on the tables would be nice (since there were antique looking candleabras on the tables, we didn't need centerpieces). That was the only thing we chose based on how the room looked. Everything else was mostly gerbers.

I chose my colors based on my gown since it has color in it. my hall definitely doesnt match so im going to do my best with chair covers and such to make it match alittle better

I definitely did choose my colors based on the color of the room......my room has alot of gold and champagne tones so i went with a brown, taupe and ivory theme

if they did change something in the room, i think that i would consider changing my colors depending on how dramatic the change was

we choose what we liked - didnt really think about the hall- however our florist advised & agreed that white centerpieces would look best in our RH

I chose my colors bc of the season I was marrying in, not the colors in the hall. The NRC worked to my advantage though, bc their carpets and overall decor are very fall-ish bc the carpets are a deep burgundy and everything has a gold tone to it. Our colors are Choc Brown, Ivory and Gold.

I really wanted all white flowers
After i saw my hall, i knew how nice it would look with the RH

I loved the eggplant and white contrast

I chose my colors - choc brown, orange and gold/cream - based on the season. However, now that I think about it, my hall's colors are neutral tones (stacked stone walls etc) so it will look very nice!

I didn't base my colors on the hall, i just loved the way the colors went together.

I based it on the colors I like....not on the hall.

I chose plum BM dresses at first because I love the color! Now my colors are plum , champage and burgandy because I was unable to match everything up to the stupid dress .

I chose my colors b/c I love it. To me, it didn't matter what color my hall was, I was going to have pink, and lots of it!

Well not for the reception b/c the room is going to be dark anyways - but when picking out the bridesmaid dress and bouquets i did keep in mind that we would be taking a lot of pictures at JT and i didnt want us to clash with the way JT is decorated for the holidays....i think that the taupe/gold colored bridesmaid dresses and the deep red flowers will go well with the way JT's lobby is decorated - i think it will be perfect for the holidays....for the reception we are doing something totally different and we are changing the tone/vibe to more of what i think is an elegant party atmosphere - so for that im not matching because its something different - but for the ceremony/cocktail hour and photos and i wanted it to be holidayish without being to holidayish so yeah i kept the halls decor in mind....

I had a similar situation. I wanted brown dresses for fall, but they looked awful on the girls. So we tried the wine and they both looked beautiful in them, so we changed the color scheme. No biggie...

Well I've always wanted lavender, so that's what my girls are wearing. However, lavender it'self won't really go in the RH... so what i'm doing there is the flowers for the CP's i'm bringing in some pink flowers so they will be pink and lavender, and then the linens in the RH will be pink, and the pink goes very well with the burandy in the Westbury Manor. So basically my colors are now lavender and pink!

I didn't. I picked colors I liked not that went with a hall. My colors actually match the hall which is nice.

Our hall is neutral colors so anything I chose fit in.. However I originally picked an Aubergine BM dress (no one liked it). So I changed to Victorian Lilac for them. My original colors was Aubergine and Silver which due to difficulty getting the right shade of purple to match stuff for the wedding our colors became Black & White with accent of the Aubergine & Silver.
