QOTD: We all know that wedding planning can be stressful, but there are some good things about it too. What has been your favorite part about the wedding planning process? It can be anything! A process, a search, anything goes here.
For me, my favorite has been figuring out the color scheme of my wedding. I am a very visual person and finding the best colors for the day have been fun. I've looked at other bride's wedding days and seen lots of things that would really fit with my overall scheme. I have had to consider the colors that already exist at my venue and it has been a fun puzzle to see if they will fit.

Congrats on BOTW!
I think my favorite part so far has been dress shopping. It has been stressful because I'm an indecisive person but I really enjoy going. I love seeing the different styles and trying things on. It makes me really excited for the special day and I can't wait to find the perfect dress for that day.

I think the one thing that cause me not one ounce of stress is my vendors...They made it SO easy....Especially the venue...We have the tasting next weekend so were so excited but they gave us the vision that we wanted and was looking for.

My favorite has been dress shopping and shopping for veils and shoes. I'm officially obsessed with my dress(even though I had buyers remorse earlier this week) it's the only thing I have shopped for that has made me feel like a bride. Trying to find the dress took a while but nothing like trying on a white dress and having that bridal moment.

What I thought was going to be the hardest part of the wedding planning process was actually the easiest and most memorable for me. I normally do not like clothes shopping for myself because things just don't seem to fit me right. So I was very anxious when it came to looking for my wedding dress. Not only that but my mother and I have such an estanged realtionship (have not seen her in over 10 years) so I was not going to have that mother daughter moment when I found The Dress. When FH and I set the date my FMIL told me she wanted to buy my dress. I was so taken back by that. No words can describe how much that meant to me. I actually went with my MOH to do a trial of dress shopping. Just to get my feet wet because I knew I was going to be a nervous wreck. Long story short, we ended up finding the dress but I still wanted to look at other salons just to see if something else out there would catch my eye and I also wanted to be with my FMIL. We went to one salon and there was a beautiful dress I tried on but I did not get the same feeling as I did with the dress I tried on a few weeks earlier. When I put my dress on and walked out and saw my FMIL's face I just knew that we were in argreement that I found The Dress. It was a moment I would never forget and one I will always hold close to my heart.

I'm not deep into planning yet, but I'd have to say photographer hunting.. Probably only because we've booked that and the venue and FH was such a d~bag during the venue hunting process :) I also enjoyed meeting with the deacon from the church... I was so stressed out hoping he didn't ask if we've done it or if we've gone to church since our confirmations (yes and no respectively lol) but he put us so at ease and I'm actually looking forward to fulfilling this sacrament with FH :)

That's been my favorite part too! I'm doing a nautical theme and I've been so lucky that all the stories(especially Home Goods) has so much nautical stuff! I'm in heaven lol

I feel the same way about my theme! I'm going rustic shabby chic and I see all kinds of items (chalkboards, mason jars, etc) everywhere. I was in Michael's the other day and it's amazing how many things they have there for my theme.

Although I only visited two halls I would have to say venue hunting was my favorite part jus going through the rooms and envisioning what your big day will be like is super fun!
