Morning ladies!!! Here we go with day #4, hope this one is more popular than yesterday's lol
Does your wedding date have any meaning to you? Is it a special date or just a random date you picked? Explain why you chose that date.
Our date is September 8th. FH and I knew we wanted September, we discussed it right after we got engaged, we also knew we wanted to be engaged for at least a year and a half, so that brought us to sept 2012. We were weird with wanting an even #, i know weird. We also knew we wanted something early in September so could still get the amazing weather and semi summer feeling, we then decided on Saturday September 8th because we wanted a Saturday for sure. When we went to Giorgio's they had it open and we fell in love and knew we had to jump on it.

We picked it because I am a teacher and we wanted to be able to go on out honeymoon right after the wedding and not wait. So 2/19/12 is the Sunday before we have a week off for President's week.

Our date has no meaning. I'm a teacher and wanted to get married in the summer and then go straight on our honeymoon. FH didn't like the month of August and I didn't want June. So July it was! I wanted an even number date and I wanted a Friday. I thought the first Fri was too close to July 4th and the following Fri is Friday the 13th. So we decided on the 20th!

FFhand I wanted our wedding to be far away from our birthdays. I was born in sept and hom in dec. We also are paying for most of it our selves so we wanted a cheap month. Most of my family got married or. Engaged in Jan so we picked Feb. We wanted to be engaged for at least for a year, so that is why we picked 2012. I wanted it early in Feb so that we can go on our honeymoon. I teach so I wanted to go away for a break. I also wanted a cool datw and ot is one month after what would have been my grandpa's 71st b day.

I knew I always wanted to get married in may before I even had a boyfriend. I thought it was the perfect month of having nice but not too hot weather. I also had the date may 24th picked because I love even numbers. My favorite number is 4 so I though why not the 24th. Then we I started dating FH our anniversary is the 4th. I knew 4 was my lucky number so we decided to have it on our anniversary. I think it was because FH doesn't want to remember any more dates. It's also the day before my 'parents' wedding anniversary. So yeah I got alot of meaning behind it.

I really wanted a date when school was out. I was originally going for the July date they had available... My dads running a charity tournement for the FD the next day so its going to be rough for him..but this was the only summer Friday left.
Fh's dad is obsessed with numbers and he decided 6/29 is fate because FH was born on 11/29, and we got engaged on 1/29. I'm just like ok sure.

I'm a school counselor so we knew we would have to do it some time in the summer.... we picked July and knew a Friday
From there... we had to decide between the date and when we heard the tone of 7-/20 / 20-12 we liked it haha, yes it was silly but it has a ring to it

All of FH sibilings got married in August and the reception hall either had august 4th or 11th. Then being the psycho that I am i looked up the meaning of each number and found that the number eleven has some spiritual significance

I really wanted 4/4/12.... our 10 year anniversary!
But.. due to the fact that FH is 100% thinking of kids and family, we HAD to go with a July date. On one hand, he's a jerk.. because 4/4.. started dating.. 4/5/.. got engaged. I would've done either date or 4/6! Oh well... now we just have a summer date that I thought sounded the most pretty out of all the dates available.

it was the only date the worked for us at the venue we wanted :)
