Good morning all & TGIF!! I was talking to my girlfriend the other day & she was telling me how she's been doing most of the planning on her own since her FH has been busy with work & remodeling their apartment, so my question today is this...
How helpful has FH been with helping you plan the wedding? Besides him who has been most helpful to you?
I can't be more thankful that my FH has been so helpful throughout this process. Every appointment I have made has been around his schedule so that he's able to make it, I love his input because its his day as well and I want him to be happy with almost every aspect of it. I have been very lucky to have an amazing support group from my mom, sister, to my FSIL & girlfriends..I haven't gotten stressed yet LOL and I hope it stays this way until our day!!

I've been doing most of the planning but I always ask FH his opinion before booking anything.. And so far he has liked everything I picked from invitations to flowers. He just wants me to be happy and have the dream wedding I've always wanted! My mom, sister, FMIL and my girlfriends have all been super helpful too!

Like BradsGirl I have been doing most of the planning but ask FH for his opinion before I actually book anything. He really couldn't care much about what I choose he just wants me to be happy. Otherwise my mom, sister (moh), and FSIL have been helpful too!

FH does very little of the planning. I do most of it and my MOH and one of my bridesmaids help me the most. I feel like he is excited for the wedding, the finished product, but doesnt seem too interested in the details in getting there lol.

FH has been SO helpful. He's literally been with me every step of the way helping with every single decision. He definitely wanted to be a part of the wedding planning process. There's certain things he cares less about, but he doesn't really show it. He's cute. :)
The most helpful has been one of my bridesmaids that's never been married, she's like the ultimate party planner. She's amazing. She's been so helpful every step of the way, and I call her sometimes before my MOH.

That's great to hear that everyone so far has such good FH's!! Well..that's why we are marrying them right?! LOL...and I feel having a good support system is super important!
FH has been so involved in the planning process. I've been doing most of it lately because he's so always so busy as a teacher, but I always check in with him before doing anything. He knows I like to take the reins on planning anyway, haha.
Our moms have also been helpful in planning, whether it's offering an opinion when I'm torn on a decision or just listening while I talk and talk and talk about it!

He's been very helpful with providing his input but I don't really involve him too much in little details that I know he won't care about (ie: flowers) especially since the last six months he was studying like crazy for the sergeants test so he really couldn't get too involved. He was very involved in the big three though: venue, photographer, DJ.
Other than FH my mom and one of my bridesmaid have been really helpful.

FH has been SOOO unbelievably helpful! I absolutely love that he is involved in every single thing that we do for the wedding. He WANTS to be involved and he is absolutely wonderful at it. Other than that I have been asking my sister, mom, FSIL and FMIL for ideas/advice on certain aspects. Truth is, it has mostly been FH and I and I LOVE THAT. It's our day after all :)

FH has been very involved in the planning with things that are important to him (menu, size of RH and seating arrangements)... when we visited halls he was asking questions about the room layout, asking how many people the room was set up for, etc... things I didn't think to ask! I have not made any decisions without him.

FH gives some input but basically my sister, mom and I are planning the wedding. I just ask FH for his opinion when I'm stuck on something.

Fh has been very helpful he comes with me to all the appointments except like hair and makeup trials, and dress shopping. But he has given his input into everything we have done so far.

I ask fh about things and he tells me if he likes them or not. That's his version of helping to plan lol.

My FH has been very helpful and involved. So far we have made all of the decisions together. He is starting to take a step back because he is starting a new job but I still review things with him before making the final decision.

Aww it's a lot of studying I know!! I went thru it with my FH..wish him luck!! My FH was super involved with the photographer & DJ..and I'm surprised he's involved with the flowers now

Poor FH I ask his opinion on everything...but it's usually more for a validation of an idea I had then anything, I don't want the pressure of selecting something he doesn't like so I always check with him first. He's also gone to every appointment with me so far and I've appreciated that immensely, and he liked being involved...but he has admitted he'd rather sit out the florist meetings coming up, so I will likely bring my mom lol. My MoH is great but unfortunately lives out of state so she hasn't really been able to participate, but is always excited to see ideas/pictures that I email her lol.
