We have done most of the big things together. I did the DJ and the photographer by myself just because it was easier for me to make an appointment straight after work, but I asked his opinion before I booked. The little details I mostly am doing on my own, but I always show him first. My FSIL got married not too long ago so she's been helping me out with what I should be looking for in terms of pricing and both of our parents have been great as well, I really can't complain!
for the most part, i look into most stuff, and then i make FH come to ALL appointments, and ask his opinion and don't make decisions without him- its just as much his wedding as it is mine. My mom is really helpful and definitely puts in her input and has helped so much. I haven't asked much help from anyone because i've found all decisions super simple :)
My FH is so sweet. He hates the wedding planning process, but he is helping me with everything. My family and most of my bridesmaids are not in this country and will be flying here to attend my wedding, so I usually go to FMIL for advice. I do a lot of the initial research, and then show FH my narrowed down options and reasons why I like/dislike them. FH usually looks through them and we make the final decision together. He calls all the vendors, sets up appointments, and does so much even though he doesn't enjoy it at all. Most vendors are often surprised by how proactive he is, and I know he is doing it just for me, since my family and best friend are not here. I love him so much!
The FH was the one that introduced me to this forum and Pinterest! He's been very resourceful..lol. I am one that have been making the calls and appointments, but he has definitely contribute to this wedding planning by making time in his schedule to drive and asking questions with vendors, etc! He's pretty organized and helped create spreadsheets and stuff for the wedding so I can be more organized. I'm glad I have such an awesome fiance to help plan this wedding! =)
FH has been amazing. We have planned everything together and the process has been so much fun. Besides FH my MOH has been the most helpful. I love how involved FH is.
