Good morning girls!!

I was thinking about all of our music choices last night for our band and started thinking how amazing it would be if we were able to choose one artist to come perform at the wedding.

Today's question is:

If you can have any artist perform just one song at your wedding (either present day or even deceased) who would it be and what song?

This was a hard one for me to answer. After careful consideration I have chosen Elliott Smith to sing our wedding song (Between the Bars)!

Sam Cooke could sing us our first dance song.. You Send Me. He is dead so ... that would be miraculous.

Or as Becca said, Dion ... or even Jay from Jay and the Americans. I've been listening to 'Cara ***' a lot recently and I'm like 'He's old but still kicking.. maybe he could sing at the reception LOL'

WOW, I was JUST thinking about this on the way to work this morning!

I used to say, if I could have Johnny Rzeznik (from the Goo Goo Dolls) sing at my wedding or Nick Hexum and P-Nut (from 311) I would be a very happy girl. Then this morning, I was listening to the new Against me! cd and I thought, 'Hmm, this guy Tom has an awesome voice, maybe I'd like HIM to sing at my wedding!'

But really, I guess if I could have anyone, dead of alive, it would be between a young Dion DiMucci (Dion and the Belmonts) or a young Bobby Darin.

We saw Dion perform as an opening act for Bob Dylan!! SOOO AMAZING!!!!!

DMB and sing our wedding song You and Me, FH and I have actually sent e-mails to get him to come... not that we thought it would work, but we are both so obsessed we thought we would ateast try!
