QOTD 7/13/10

I know everyone loves the summer I do too but I do look forward to the winter. What are three things you look forward too or hate about the winter?

1. SNOWBOARDING- I love love love snowboarding im obsessed with it, FH and I go all the time
2. My Uggs I live in them in the winter LOL
3. Snuggling up in side with some hot chocolate and watching a movie

LOL I love the winter - I only like the summer... People thing I am strange as to why I love the winter...

1 - LOOOVVEEE cold weather. I hate being hot and I am hot 99% of the time so the winter is ideal.

2 - I really enjoy cleaning my car off after it snows and I actualky enjoy shoveling... I also enjoy driving in the snow

3 - I find the winter to be the most beautiful time of the year....

1) I love the quiet stillness of an early morning after a big snow. the grey in the sky, the crystal reflection of light dancing off the snow.

2) the feel of a warm blanket- cuddle up with my FH

3) the holidays - just being with people you love ,and eating :)

that is too funny I have a truck so when I have to clean the snow off it takes me forever . But I like to shovel too IDK y when I was little I used to go out when it snowed and make money shoveling peoples driveways and walkways hahaha

i absolutely hate winter. I was born in warm weather so it was a shock to come to this kind of weather. So here's mine...

1. I hate being cold and I hate bundling up and wearing tights and closed toe shoes (i'm more of a sandals/skirt girl)

2. i don't look forward to the snow and commuting whether it's train or car. It's just not safe - plus the snow is only pretty for a few hours then it turns into this gray mush - plus it messes up parking

3. I especially don't like winter (this is probably temporary) b/c that's when busy season starts for me and that means long hours and working 6 days a week

but i do have to add that i do look forward to the holidays and going on vacations during the winter season to get away from the cold weather!

The 3 things I love about the winter are:
1. I'm a january baby so my birthday of course
2. I love the first snowfall
3. I love staying in on a cold night with tea or hot chocolate and either watch a movie all bundled up or read a good book

LOVE:

1) Snowboarding
2) Leaving the windows open in the house and not wasting $$ on air conditioning
3) bundling up in layers

HATE:

1) Commuting to and from work in the slushy mess on NYC
2) the weight I always seem to gain in the winter time (probably due to the fact that I am bundled up in layers and no one can see my expanding gut LOL)
3) shoveling

I LOVE THE WINTER!!!
the three things i love about it are:

1) Snow... As long as i am inside i love love love looking out my window at the snow falling. It is so beautiful

2) Curling up under a warm blanket cuddling with FH

3) the feeling of the cold brisk air when you walk out of the house

I loveee winter (just hate driving in snow). I was a winter baby!

1) I love sleeping in a mountain of blankets!
2) I love wearing my rediculous snow outfits that I put together
3) The Serenity after it snows

(It's so cold in our office, my coworker made some hot chocolate! it's smells divine!)

I have a love / hate relationship w winter. I'm a fall girl.

LOVE:

snow! I get super excited when I hear it's going to snow. If there's a possibility of a blizzard I get giddy! Then again, I'm a weather nerd. I love extreme weather. It fascinates me.

Playing w the dogs in the snow. I have a husky and a pit mix. Logan wont come in if it's snow. I have to drag him inside and Cierra loves catching snowballs. It's so cute.

The holidays. I'm such a sucker for all that xmas music and all the movies and festivities...even though my family is Jewish. I celebrate Chrismakah! lol

HATE:

paying for oil. ugh HATE IT!!!!

shoveling. I last 5 mins and make Fh do the rest. Yeah, he loves that!

paying for oil..yeah this warrants 2 slots since I hate it so much!

i HATE HATE HATE winter!

* there is nothing i like about winter, minus the fun holidays. i hate the snow and the mess it makes and the problems you have commuting.

*i hate that its so cold you can't walk outside without thinking your fingers are going to fall off and having to wear 15 layers of clothing to stay warm.

*you can't really hang out outside, you have to kinda stay indoors for winter and your all cooped up (i know this may be just me, but these are my opinions )

CHRISTMAS!!!! LOVE CHRISTMAS!! Me and my FH go overboard every year we love opening presents!!!

Love sitting inside cuddled up on the couch with a cup of coffee or hot coco

watching the dogs play in the snow and come in with it all over them =)

iceskating! and going to see the tree in rockefeller center!

Ugh, I used to love winter when I was little but now I hate it. Hate shoveling, hate cleaning the dogs everytime they go out, hate bulky winter clothes!!! LOATHE commuting in the winter since they never cancel work during a blizzard . Hate that my skin dries out and I'm paaaalee.

Lol, sorry, got carried away.

The stuff I DO enjoy about winter:

-no more bikinis. Bring on the hot carbs!
-sticking my cold feet under FH's butt when we're on the couch.
-my birthday & christmas.
-watching my pups play in the snow.

I love decorating and I'm sooo excited to have my own place to decorate this year. I love buying Christmas presents and wrapping and I love listening to Christmas music!!! December is my favorite month and in my ideal world it would be warm all year round and winter would only last from December 1st - January 3rd.

Im going to be honest... WInter is my absolute FAVORITE!!!!!!!!!

I love the cold weather and I loooove snow! I have aa insane obsession with snowboarding LoL! I also love snowmobiling!

*and yes I know Im nuts but I love snow so much that I actually will go in the snow in my bikini hahaha
