If you had the chance to do this all over again would you or would you not elope?
I would say I would do everything exactly the way that I am doing it. Although I think I would be smarter and start budgeting earlier so that I am not soooo strapped for money now. I think eloping would kill my parents and I couldn't live with that guilt.

I'd elope as long as I could have the gorgeous wedding gown or at least a sexy destination type gown as well as my closest friends and family with us

Nope! I have had a stress free time planning my wedding and I am so happy with how everything is working out. We were originally going to have a destination wedding but I am happy we decided against it, now I get to celebrate with everyone I love.

definitely elope!!! the wedding was for dh's family. thinking about all of the $$ we could have saved makes me sick!

As much as I wasn't a typical bride...I'd still do it all over again. It was a blast, and the money that was laid out all came back, plus some, so the money thing isn't an issue.
Having all of our family and friends in one place celebrating for us was priceless.

same here - i wanted a destination wedding with 50 total guests (just close family and friends)
i think if we knew then what we know now, we'd have gone that route

Nope! I say it at times of stress but I would never elope! I actually really enjoy the planning, even if it does get frustrating at times. It also would never be the same without my family there

I don't think I'd elope but if I ever do a vow renewal like 20 years from now, I'd go with a destination wedding for sure.
