I absolutly love wedding plannig even though its stressful I think its soo much fun to do. The problem is sometimes other people have to many oponions that can bring you down. TOdays question is what are oponions that people say to you about wedding stuff that really gets you aggravated???

I hate it when people say ohh your doing that already but why? Im getting my dress next month and everyone is like wow that soo early, and I have to give a wholeexplanation its really annoying. The other annoying thing is when older people cant understand why its soo hard to buy a house and why it might not happen right away, or that its soo hard to live on long island. ' oh well when wewere young we were able to save and do it'. I dont know how many times ive heard that fro different people. Yes you may have done but things have changed and LI is a lot harder to live on then it was when our grandparents were younger lolll

I am going to second that (well, third that actually..lol) People really don't understand that you need to get things done early now. It's not like it used to be anymore. People are booked even more than a year in advance... I tried to have my wedding in October and guess what? More than a year and a half in advance, it was booked. Everyone told me I was crazy, well HAHA to them!!

FH and I met at work, but he doesn't work there anymore.
One of the things that's stressing me out is allll of my co-workers who automatically assume they're invited to the wedding! Yes, if I had millions of dollars that would be fine, but 99% of them I've never hung out with outside of work... why do you just assume you're going to be invited?
Now I feel like I'm going to look like a major b1tch when I say, 'Sorry, you can't come.'

Overall we have been very lucky. I mean mostly everyone understands that this our wedding. The way we want it not them! However the one snag was the children. Why arent the kids invited blah blah . Finally FH & I just said listen this is an evening affair that will run into early morning. This is not an event for children. They dont belong at affairs like this. After we set are stand & let them know to bad thats it. We havent heard a thing since! lol

i have a bunch! some people have told me my bridal party is too big, they say im obsessed because i already did so much, they say i have plenty of time and to relax! but i enjoy doing this and i wanan have plenty of time so i know how much to save!!!

Ok well I found bm dresses that I am in love with, and one of my bms said to wait untl the new dresses came out. Well I love the ones that I chose and am coordinating everything around that!

Everything annoys me...lol. um...i have strong opinions on things and I HATE when people demand to know why then get all defensive! Like theres this other girl that I kmow who is also getting married (although I would not really consider her my friend) and its like she is asking about EvERYTHING!) for instance...why am I not doing a bo-k toss? i say...cuz i dont want too...only because i know she is and i dont want to upset her with my reasons and be rude when i know she plans on doing it...but she keeps asking and asking and asking so i finally say....'cause i think its ridiculous and every wedding I have been to the single girls are running to AVOID that damn bo-k and it is uncomfortable and annoying and i dont want to do it and I dont a FG to catch it...blah blah blah...' then she gives me attitude...OMG....doNT Ask IF YOU DONT WANN HEAR IT!

I hate when people say i have time.....it's less than a year away! Yeah i could book something a few months before...then be BROKE b/c i can't pay it off! I also hate when people question my judgement and idea. Like when someone asks you about the type of cake you want/color scheme/flowers etc..and then says something like 'oh...people dont like such and such/ maybe u could do a diff color' It's my wedding, let me choose what i want!

I hate it when my family tries to get invovled. Like my aunt or fmil will say well why dont you do this or dont do that ...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr that is why we are paying for the wedding so we can have the final say.

I hate when people tell me that Im doing things too early ... Im getting married on the 4th of July weekend ... everyone is booked already! Of course Im doing it early, thats because I actually want things to get done for my wedding. I also hate when I do things and pick things out that I like and poeple are like oh you picked that out ... but thats ugly. Its wedding, let me pick out what I want! geez!

Houses back then cost like 30 grand .. that isnt even enough for a down payment now! Down payments are anywhere from 20-50% which means that if your house was 100K which is cheap nowadays .. your down payment would be like 50K!
Excuse me for not having that much money saved .. I hear this all the time too!

I'm an event planner therefore i noticed curiosity more than anything else. I like to be different, but yet tasteful and like to keep everyone on their toes. But that comes w/ a price.
The ones that are around me ask....
how much is this costing??? like they're paying for it. It annoys me a bit but it is what it is ....could be worse, i guess

when my bm's have a million opinions on colors, dresses, etc and think its so easy to just change everything around
