Tom and I are best friends. He is the only person that really gets me and he says the same of me with him. We disagree at times, but are always respectful of one another. We are truly compatible in everyway, and there is NO ONE else out there that could make me laugh as he does We've been through rough times but over these past NINE years, we have only grown stronger. I look forward to spending many many more decades by the side of my favorite funny man

Communication is key! we never go to bed angry at each other, we get it out right then and there. Also and this is JMO I feel people give up on their marriages too easy and use divorce as an out. I think sometimes people go into a marriage and think everyday is going to be a cakewalk and when it isnt they bail.

My FH's parents are divorced and its a bad situation. His parents dont speak to each other and are only in the same room for the wedding or their children and thats it! lol. Well, my FH always tells me that he doesnt want to end up like that and we always communicate everything to each other no matter what. We dont say things to hurt each other, but we do express our feelings in a healthy way. There is also ALOT of compromise between us and I think these two traits are the ones that will make us stay together forever! lol
