i was still in college was totally ready for when i graduated! he took 4 years convincing ;)

I had absolutly no intensions of getting married... and he didn't think so either. The story he tells everyone, including me, is that at the party we were at, it was love at first sight when he first laid eyes on me. He said he KNEW right then and there that I was 'The One'. Me, on the other hand, just thought that he had awesome blue eyes and was making me laugh, so that was just plain awesome! HAHA. Took him 4 years to pop the question just to save up money on the ring! Silly men! HA. Gotta love em though! :)

I was 24 and he was 31. I would say that at the tim he was definitely more ready to settle down than I was. i have always been very independent by nature so the thought of getting married and settling down at the time held litle interest to me. It's funny how meeting the right person can definitely change your opinion.
