How old were you when you started dating FH? Were you looking to settle down at the time?

I was about to turn 20 and he just turned 18.When I met him I had been really hurt about a yr before so I didnt really want anything serious. It took me about 6 months in the relationship to relize hewas the one for me

I was 33 and I was NOT looking to settle down. Was NOT looking to meet someone. I blew him off for weeks and weeks until he gave up, and when I realized I'd lose him if I didn't go out with him, it all hit home at that moment and I went out with him. It wasn't him (I knew when I met him he'd be in my life forever, somehow) - it was just my attitude at the time that it wasn't worth the trouble, and I was 'better' single, or so I thought
We've been inseparable since then, so I guess I was ready to settle down WITH HIM!!!
Oh, he was 29. I turned 34 and he turned 30 within two months of us getting together.

I was 26 and he was 25. We were both completely enjoying being single but as soon as we began dating we knew we would eventually get married.
