i'd like to keep the 2 xmas's i do. Like xmas eve is my family, xmas is his. It's nice to be with both sides on dif days instead of trying to cram it all into 1 day. Halloween has always been big for us b/c we met at a halloween party so i'd like to have fun with our kids with that. Having dinner together everynight. I want to keep a sense of 'family' alive b/c nowadays it doesn't exist anymore. It's really sad. ( i took a whole class on how the whole institution of marriage and family is dying..it was scary stuff)

my family always eats dinner together, everynight, unless of course it's the weekend and we're out. On Sundays, we always go to my grandma's for Sunday dinner or FH's house for Sunday dinner.
I want to continue this tradition, I think it's important to spend quality time each day with your family

the middle name thing..I do that too...havent discussed much else yet. family meals are very important to us though. Time together and decorating the tree at christmas..all those cute little things really mean a lot.
