I wish I went on this site BEFORE asking.. I didn't even really ask...I was bad. LOL...each one has their own unique way of being asked, but it wasn't formal. So, I just bought them all little cookies that say it on there so that way they still have something LOL.

I got them these cookies and had a card made which said inside

i just asked them. My one friend knew she was going to be my moh, and my other best friend knew she was going to be a bm. The other 3 i just flat out asked.

I don't have a traditional bridal party, so there was no one to ask!


But I have a MOH, my sister, and I didn't really ask her so much as tell her she was going to be the MOH. But because she is still is school in Miami, she doesn't really have a lot of the regular MOH responsibilities. She is going to help plan my bach party with a friend from up here, since she doesn't know the restuarants and clubs and shows. But that is about it!

I asked my sister in person and my friends over lunch. I gave my MOH a special card at the lunch asking her and giving her all the reasons why I want her there on my special day. I withheld the engagement from my cousin (which was sooo hard) and I asked her 2 days later on Christmas. I gave her a wrapped box and told her I had a gift for her and my Goddaughter that I wanted them to open early. Inside was a picture of a FG dress asking if Emma could be my flower girl and the next pic was of a bridesmaids dress asking if she would be my BM. She was shocked and dropped the box. it was great!

I made all of them cards on shutterfly using pictures of me and them. I also bought t-shirts that said bridesmaid and moh for my sisters :)

I asked them all prior to the e-party... over the phone, in person, email, etc. Then at the e-party I made pic frames with pics of me and them and out a little poem... I felt that made it more official!

I asked my two girlfriends who live in NY when we we out to lunch, I asked FSIL at brunch, I asked my sister and BFF over the phone since they are in MI, and I asked my friend Emily via email because she is living in Germany right now.

I sent my MOH an email right before I left to meet her in Ireland. (I emailed her the would you be my MOH poem but I didn't tell her I was getting married). So it was kinda fun when she picked me up at the airport. Then I obvs asked her in person! I bought her an irish linen hankie and a silly how to be an MOH book that I found.

i just asked them since they are 500 miles away i wanted to call and ask myeslf since i couldn't do it in person

mostly evertyone I just sat with them one on one and asked them but for my MOH I wanted to do something different. I had a shirt maid that said MOH and when I gave it to her thats how she knew. It was a great moment she was soo suprised

I did nothing special...after I got engaged I just asked them when I was telling them I was engaged!

I was a bit caught up in the moment!

they all knew right away (i really didn't even have to ask) pretty much told them right after we got engaged !!!
