How did you ask your bridal party to be a part of your day? Or how do you plan on asking?

I made cards and gave it to them when I was with each girl alone. I didn't want other people being around to make them feel pressured into saying yes. But, they all gladly accepted. I did this around the holidays last year so I made personalized ornaments after they said yes. See DIY album pics.

I found a website online that has very cute cards that say 'Will you be my Bridesmaid/Maid of Honor etc...' They were a little pricey but there is a dress on the front with actual fabric so i couldnt resist! I think the website was weddingstand.com but when you can do a search on google and find a lot! Btw- my friends just got them and went crazy for them! :)

I took my sister out to dinner adn gave her a card asking her to be the MOH and I asked my other girls when we were alone so they wouldnt feel pressured to say yes

Two of my attendants live out of state - my MOH is in California and one bridesmaid is in Connecticut - so I don't get to see either one of them too often. I was thinking of mailing them a cute little bear dressed up as a bridesmaid. I found these cute little books for the flower girls and ring bearer that I'm going to read to them and then ask if they'd like to be one at my wedding :)

I wrote them all a really sappy card telling each of them why I love them and how much it would mean to me if they were in the BP. I also gave them a book about how to be a 'fabulous' BM.

I got them really cute Will You Be My Bridesmaid cards... I wanted to ask everyone all at once at our e-party but some people not in the wedding party were invited so I didn't want them to feel weird. I asked my MOH and 1 BM at dinner at my house, 1 BM at her house and 2 BM's at a bar!

I just asked allof them in person.I couldnt wait 3 months for my Eparty. At our EParty we did the GM asking & we just had my girls up there while FH asked his GM & BMan. I took my girls out for dinner & drinks after i asked them.

i emailed all of them a cute 'will you be my bridesmaid' poem. i was so excited! i wish i would have waited and sent them a nice card or something more original

Actually I was just so excited the night FH proposed to me I called my sister (MOH obviously) and asked her and then I called FSIL and then my best friend Lauren and asked them all! Hahaha, just over the phone. I always do that! I get so excited that I jump the gun and then I come on here and so many cute and fabulous ways of formally asking

I made them I frame with a picture of us, bridesmaid stickers and a poem asking them to be in my wedding...
I made cards for my MOH and BMs (in my album). FH just asked each GM. I asked the mother of my FG and RB since they are so little and don't really understand yet.

I asked my matron of honor and maid of honor in person and 2 bm's over the phone
I asked them if they wanted to be apart of our day, I gave them a choice since it go added up $$$$$. And then sent an e-mail to all of them so they can keep in touch with each other. So I had 6 girls and now I'm down to 4. I'm glad I didn't spend money on a gift before the wedding.
