Why is she your MOH and what duties will she have in the wedding process? Share a funny story about the two of you. What makes your friendship so unique?

Lisa and I met at grade school. We grew up around the corner from each other. We've known each other for 25 years.
I couldn't imagine anyone else being my MOH. I was in her bridal party as well. There's not an event in my life she hasn't been a part of, and vice versa. I have 25 years worth of stories to tell, but they're the kind of stories that are only funny to US.
She won't have too many duties (if any) the day of the wedding. I want her to enjoy herself. She will be coming to my dress fittings, helping with invitation stuffing, etc. It's just important to me that she be recognized as someone very near and dear to me....

My MOH is my sister, so i have known her forever. We are very close, but haven't always been that way, we actually fought with each other and couldn't be around one other when we were younger-actually until i was about 16. Now we are around each other constantly and have just about all the same friends. She is my creative sidekick for the wedding

I don't have an MOH. Part of me wishes we'd at least have an MOH and BM, but FH doesn't see the need for them and feels it will be just more money to spend. Part of me also thinks it's because he wouldn't even know who to ask. He lost contact with a lot of friends due to his ex wife and never formed new bonds.
If I were to have one, it would be my SIL. We've known each other since 7th grade and 14 years later she married my brother. She's one of the few people that gets me cause she's just as mental as I am.

My MOH is Lisa, i met her in 1st grade so we've known eachother for 19 years. Our friendship has been up and down with growing apart and getting close. we've been super close the past 2.5 years. her husband is my FH's best friend which makes things lots of fun.
we were the first of my friends to turn 21 so the first 8 months of us being 21 was quite interesting to say the least..we were like the dynamic duo out at the bars and clubs

My sister will be my MOH. Me and her have grown extremely close as Ive gotten older since she's 9 years older than me. I was her MOH 10 years ago when I was only 15 so I really had no duties. For me, I just expect her to be there when the stress is on and I need someone to talk to. I know she'll be planning my shower with my mother and help with anything I need.

Let's see I have known her since she was an embryo lol, she's my little sister. She will be turning sweet sixteen this year and by the time wedding rolls around it will be a month before her 18th birthday. Because she is my sister, I have tons of stories, like when i was jealous of her new arrival so I dropped her and begged my mother to take her back to the hospital or when I watched her kiss the island when I was four. I assure you I am not a horrible sister, it's just that she had stolen my spotlight!!! But I have practically raised her and I love her more than I love myself...yep so that my MOH. I have decided to make my good friend Yang my matron of honor instead of having two MOH's.

My MOH is my best friend Kathy. We have been friends for years now...She is just a wonderful person, and is always there for me! I dont have any sisters/ cousins so there wouldnt be anyone else in the world that I would rather have next to me. She is a big help already...she helped me soo much with the eparty...im sure she will help me out with the wedding...The only bad thing is that she lives in Florida...(but its also good- bc it goves me an excuse to go and see her)

My MOH is my cousin Nikki. She's two months older than me so she's always been there. We had our mishaps as kids since I was the only child for so long. I was the only kid that needed 'alone time' and she didn't understand that so I would hurt her feelings a lot. We got closer during our teen age years and she will drop everything in a heart beat to be there for me. She will be helping my mom plan the shower and my bachelorette day out. She also goes to bridal expos with me. Other than that, I just expect her to have a blast and cut up on the dance floor. A funny story about us is that she is a D-cup and I have always been an A-cup, so I constantly grab on her boobs. Maybe if I grab them enough, the luck will spread to my itty bitty ___ committee!

my MOH is my sister. She has basically been my second mother since I was around 10, because my parents werent around because they had to work. she cooked for us, watched after us, basically raised me and my brother and i'm forever grateful to her for what she did for us growing up! Shes getting married in December and now all the responsibilities of the house will fall to me now ughh lol oh well...

So my MOH is my sister Lisa (3rd Lisa on here, haha!). She is 21 now and actually goes to college in Connecticut so she is my closest family here. We are pretty close and love to shop.
Funny story - My mom cut both of our hair to mullets when we were little. Its pretty funny and inhumane at the same time.

my MOH will be my sister. she makes all my appointments for me & comes to every appointment with me. her & FH get together in the afternoon to make fun of me & make plans for the wedding. she has also volunteered to make invitations, centerpieces, & just about everything else u can imagine. if it wasn't for her i wouldn't be doing anything to get ready for this wedding.

my MOH is my best friend Fiona. we have been friends since 6th grade. We have been though so much together with different friends coming in and out of our lives and always remained best friends.

My MOH is my best friend from high school. I've known her for about 8 years, which isnt as long as many people have known there best friend but she's amazing. She's REALLY helpful already, and I'm sure she'll continue to be helpful.
And...a funny story: We took my little sister (who was about 7 at the time) to see finding Nemo. On the way home a car full of guys pulled up. She says oooh they're cute boys, sticks her head out the window and yells 'hey there sexy boys, wanna feel these' I swear she didnt learn it from me. Me & MOH still joke about it.

Well, I just had to have 2. My maid of honor and my matron of honor.
Tara I've known since 2nd grade...and we've just always been that bad couple. One minute we're friends and the next minute we're ready to rip eachother's hair out. It's definitely settled down as we've gotten older. We have more stories together than the babysitter's club...most of them involve some form of stalking.
Andrea I've known for over 8 years now! She is FH sister...she is not my FSIL, she is my future sister. She's been there for me through just about EVERYTHING over the years. Especially when FMIL gets on my last nerve! LOL.
My wedding wouldn't be complete without the both of them up there, so even though things are all uneven, and FH is only having one best man...I just had to have 2!

since i have two best friends, i've got two. i've been friends with one for 8 years and the other for 7. they're each like sisters to me, and they're the only ones besides FH that i would want standing with me the day i get married

I don't have a MOH because all of my friends are equally important to me and so are my two sisters. There is no way that I could put one above the other. Its like the MOH is super important, has to spend tons of money on bachelorette parties and the like...so I came up with spliting up the duties between my 3 closest friends and naming them after their greatest quality...Maid of Integrity, Maid of Patience etc...I think it levels the playing field, at least in my situation.
