When FH and I were trying to figure out where to go on our HM, we had a very hard time. I could live on the beach and FH hates it. He would maybe sit by the pool for 10 minutes and then get bored, compain and be miserable. Needless to say, I was heartbroken over our lack of 'beach' HM We toiled with ideas forever until we came up with our European Cruise - which we love! We get a great blend of history, sightseeing and some beach places!
Which leads me to my question for today:
You and FH were given $30,000, for free to be used solely for an all expense paid Honeymoon. You and your FH are polar opposites in regards to things you would like to do in your leisure time. You have two options, would you spend it some place where you can have fun in the sun and enjoy lots of beach activities? Anywhere in the world where there is a beach? And know the entire time that FH will hate it there because he is not into that sort of thing? Or would you go to a world renowned “wintery” community – some place in the world where you can ski and enjoy all kinds of winter activities, and know that FH will love his time there, but that you will hate it because you are not into that type of vacation? If you had to choose one of the two, which would you choose and why?

i would choose the wintery one!!!!!!! Joey has helped me soooo much through the years i feel like its the LEAST i could do for him!!!!!! good question!!!!

see I'm stuck with this because I would honestly enjoyed either vacation. Actually, the situation for us would be opposite - I would enjoy the winter/snowboarding vacation because FH doesn't really ski or anything like that.
I'd go with Fun in the Sun because I know it's something we both would enjoy and i think on our honeymoon I really just want to relax. Though snowboarding to me is relaxing, I never got soar the next day from sitting my a$$ on a beach a sipping fruity cocktails LOL

i really would want to say that I would love to go to the beach because its not just beach stuff that you can do. most beach places you can go hiking, or sailing, or lots of great restaurants, or atv-ing, etc. with a snow community you are limited to cold air, and being active on a mountain. I would convince him that the warm tropical air is the best place to go, simply on the fact that there is more to do there besides sitting on a beach chair at the pool

I think that if i knew that FH would be miserable by the beach, I would just do whatever else he wanted, especially if I knew that I would end up liking ouor HM no matter what.

I would choose the wintery honeymoon to the swiss alps!! I don't ski or snowboard well but I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go to Europe for our HM

i think i would have to choose the wintery one!! FH has put up with sooo many things and activities i wanted to do and has done sooo much for me that i would do this for him

Congrats on Antonella on being BOTW!!!
In terms of the 2 choices, I would choose the beach. Personally I'm not a fan of seating in the sun all day not doing much, but I'm a less fan of skiing and the cold!!! FH will learn to love the sun and go snorkling!!

Considering I hate the snow and being cold and the fact that I LOVE beach vacations, I would choose the beach. FH doesn't like the cold either, and we both have never been skiing, so I know he would prefer the beach too.

i would pick to go to the beach because there is so much more to do in a warmer climate then there is to do in a snowy one...i feel like when you are in a tropical place there is something for everyone

Beach. FH hates the sun but i hate being cold. Id ply him w alcohol and tire him out in the room so i could be happy hahahhaha
