QOTD 7/7/10

Good morning ladies....is it hot enough for ya?! (hahaha...I'm soooooo one of those people right now!)

Anyway, for today's question, I am going NWR.
I was watching TV with FH's neice and nephew recently and the Flinstones were on, followed by The Jetsons. Classics of our generations childhood right? So my questions is...

What was your favorite show growing up? As a child and into your teen years? Just for fun, throw in your current favorite =0)

So, def my favorite show as a kid was Fraggle Rock. There was just something about muppets when I was a kid that I loved haha...and I'm not gonna lie, there's some old episodes in my DVD player as we speak!

As for my “teen” years (which feel like they happened a million years ago!)....I was def a TGIF girl. You know how it goes....”gonna have some fun, show you how it's done, T.G.I.F.” haha
Full House, Step by Step, Family Matters, Boy Meets World, Perfect Strangers, Sister Sister...those were my fav's and always a must watch!

Nowadays, I watch a million and one shows thanks to DVR. I would say my most current must watch shows are Castle, Chuck and Vampire Diaries (I know, I know...I have a thing for vampires, what can I say? And I'm totally aware there are better vampire shows out there, like True Blood...but there's something about Damon Salvatore that is just waaaaay more attractive to me than Bill Compton....just saying...haha)

LOVEED Full house, Family Matters and Saved by the bell!!!

I'm still a loverrr of friends. And i've become a Bravo Reality TV junkie. (so bad!)

As a child my favs were smurfs, The snorks, Gem and Rainbow brite.

Going into my teens and during my teen years, I just loved Saved by the bell, full house and 90210

My favorite current show was Lost, but now that it's over, I would say either True blood or Big Love

Favorite shows growing up was definitely Saved By The Bell and Golden Girls. Especially the GG - I always watched that with my grandparents. I still watch both shows every day (gotta love those re-runs). Tough I am kinda annoyed that they took GG off the WE network and replaced it with Charmed (gag!).

So hard to pick a favorite TV show now because I really have a lot. To name a few - Mercy, Nurse Jackie, United States of Tara, Parenthood, Modern Family, Biggest Loser, Gossip Girl, Real Housewives NJ, Glee, Dexter, Hell's Kitchen... there are tons more. Thank god for TiVo right? LOL

oooh of course, saved by the bell and full house! Also Sabrina the Teenage Witch , Boy meets World and family matters...basically anything on TGIF.

As for cartoons, I loved Winnie the Pooh and Mr. BUmpy (saturday morning on ABC what what!).

Currently Hells kitchen, kitchen nightmares, Top Chef (do we see a pattern here?). And New Jersey housewives!

I also was obsessed with Nip/Tuck. R.I.P

eta: I never had cable growing up so I had to make do with like 10 channels which is why I could never relate when kids talked about nickalodean

My favorite show when i was a kid was Jem and Holograms - most people dont even remember it but it was awesome!!! I also loved my little ponies and care bears.

In my teens I loved Dawsons Creek & Buffy.

Now I'm a trash TV junky! lol Real Housewives of NJ, Kendra, the old Girls Next Door, Cake Boss and my fav is the Office

Edit: When I was a kid i loved Gummy Bears too!

o god I was a huge nickelodeon fan! Rugrats, Doug, Rocko's Modern Life, Are You Afraid of the Dark... many many more!

oh I dont like this question! It shows how old I am!!!!!!

um as a kid, my fav shows were Grizzly Adams, the Monkees, Lost in Space & the Hardy Boys.

later my fav shows were Byuffy & felicity and now..
I don't watch TV! LOL

Sad but true.

For cartoons - I loved Care Bears and the nickelodeon cartoons (Maya the Bee, Noozles, The Koala Show and Grimms Fairy Tales)

For regular shoes, I loved SBTB, Full House and Growing Pains (especially when Leo was on the show!)

Now, I love to watch RHWNJ, Family Guy, Simpsons, still love to watch Saved by the Bell on TBS in the AM, True Blood and the list can go on!!!

I always loved the Smurfs...Jem and the Holograms...Rainbow Brite....CareBears!!! Those were the good old days with the cartoons.

I was most DEF a TGIF girl...i STILL watch Full House when its on(ABCFamily during the afternoon). AND Saved by the Bell, i watch that in the mornings if i have time!!!

Anyone remember My Two Dads??? Should we be suspicious looking back at that? hahahah.

Now, i'm a reality show junkie, its disgusting haha. Big Brother, any of the Real Worlds and the challenges, Rock of Love hahahaha!!! Real Housewives of OC!!

MAYA THE BEE was such a great show!!!

I was obsessed with Full House. Actually I loved the whole TGIF line up, Family Matter, Full House, Step by Step! I would have sleep over with my friends and we would look forward to watching those shows!!

I'm not going to lie, I still watch Full House every chance I get!!
