I did not do anything special. After I got engaged I called everyone up and asked them. I was just too excited.

one of my bridesmaids i told by telling her a few days after her offeringme her dress and and jewlery she had from when she was to get married that i did not wnat it since she was going to be a bm for my wedding

I asked my girls by sending them personalized cookies! FH just asked his guys when he saw them.

...and a partridge in a pear tree.

I have 1 MOH and 3 BMs....I got them each a bottle of bridesmaid red wine and a cookie from the sugar chic that said 'name, will you be my bridesmaid' I also got personalized cards from an etsy vendor who did a great job, with the wine it was a little pricey but I think they'll be putting up with a lot to dealwith me so it was worth it :)

On the other hand, FH only asked his BM so far, I dunno what else he's going to do.

I called and asked them about 20 minutes after we got engaged.. I was so excited, I couldn't hold it in lol

I bought each girl a bridesmaid champagne flute and took us all out for 1 hr foot reflexology. Everyone had a great time and the place gave me a great price for bringing 5 ppl at once.
I have one out of town bridesmaid so I just asked her in person the last time I saw her.

For the BM's I wrote them each a personalized poem and I bought old navy flip flops and got a paint pen and put their names and Bridesmaid 2012 on it. Figure for the bach party or day of they could wear it.
For the Jr BM's I got them each a double 4x6 frame and wrote a poem about how they are my princesses and I want them with me on my wedding day.... on the other side I put 'reserved for a pic of us in our princess dresses' and then I took the girls to Melting Pot for the princess lunch and gave it to them.
