As we prepare for a crazy couple weekends before our wedding. And crazy having nothing to do with OUR wedding.
What were the weeks leading up to your wedding like?
Today we are leaving work early to drive out of town for a close friend's wedding. Next weekend we have to drive back to NYC for my cousin's wedding .B@stard parents of his intentionally set their date two weeks before ours. One last free weekend. Then it's our wedding!

2 weeks before was 4th of july weekend so i laid in my pool @ the new house and drank sangria all weekend. doing NOTHING wedding related...
basically shot myself in the foot.
this weekend - last weekend before the wedding, i plan on getting everything finished so i can enjoy next week.
and that to do list is pretty long. i probably shouldnt have floated all last weekend.

This week has been crazy!! I spend at least 2 hours at the gym...I go 2x per day (gotta look good in my dress!), plus I have so much running around to do with final appointments. I'm busy from AM to PM. Thank god i'm a teacher and have summers off!

BUSY BUSY. We had final meetings, lots of phone calls, and payments due. The week before was our rehearsal and RD, the sunday before was one of our friend's birthday, and the monday before was memorial day. We used that day to do the drop off at the RH and the hotel, and then we had OOT guests coming in town so I cleaned - a lot. Two days before was pretty relaxing, but the day before, I went for my mani/pedi, then went shopping last minute (lol), and then hung out with my girls the whole night.
Not to mention, work had been hectic for me too, so I wasn't getting home until after 8 every night.

With 5 weeks to go everything is happening so quickly! Next week I have my final fitting, cake tasting, and meeting with my venue. The following week I have to make appointments with the pastor and DJ. Plus I am trying to finish some DIY projects. I am hoping by the two week mark I am basically done and can try to relax.

Well, I have 2 weeks to go. Tonight Bon Jovi :), fitting during the week and I'm sure some payments, next weekend bachelorette, then wedding weekend.

annoying... and yet slightly exciting at the same time...
annoying because everyone asks the same question over and over...
exciting because i can legitimately think about what will happen afte were married... and obviously our honeymoon...

super busy and stressful. I was walking around like a maniac ready to explode bc of stress.
but then the last few days before the wedding everything was really in place and I calmed down a lot. I was just excited that it was all finally happening.

not that busy...two weekends before I had my bachelorette party and we did some stuff around the house. The weekend before my ILs had a barbecue with a bunch of people, so I went upstate for that, and then spent the other day in bed. The Monday before was Memorial Day, and I picked up some friends from the airport who were staying with us the week before the wedding. The Saturday before (meaning the day before) was really hectic...obviously. Mani/pedis, buying umbrellas and last minute stuff for the honeymoon, rehearsal dinner...but yeah, basically not all the busy. The wonders of having a planner!!!
