Morning ladies!! I finished my last graduate class yesterday....I ‘m so relieved that it is finally over

For today’s question I want to know…

What was your first job & does it relate to what you are doing now

My first job was at Kmart when I was 15 Although it doesnt directly relate to my teaching career, it definately taught me alot about life and people

my first job was at Wendy's when I was 16................it was HORRIBLE omg i hated it, i had no life cuz i had to work 8-4 saturday AND sunday

and i hate tomatoes with a passion, i cant even touch one or i gag LOL and every sat/sun morning at 8am my job was to SLICE ALL THE TOMATOES for the day!!!!!!!!

i quit after a month!!!

eta: oh ya...no wendys has no relation to being a teacher...thank GOD

CONGRATS ON FINISHING YOUR PROGRAM!!!!!

My first paying job was to help incoming students adjust to college life by mentoring and teaching a class. It doesnt relate to what i do now, but i do still have a fondness for teaching...so who knows where life will lead me...

My first job was a lifeguard at the age of 15 (not counting the babysitting before that). I did it for 8 yrs up til I was 23 (eventually made it to head lifeguard...then did it on the weekends after I got a 'real job' out of college). It unfortunately has nothing to do with what I am going now (finance)...but I wish I could get paid to get a tan again lol

My first job was working at the beach at Robert Moses (I worked in those little shops that sell the suntan lotion, towels, shovels, etc) and I don't think it relates to anything I am doing now. Only thing that is the same is that the job was boring then and my job is boring now

My first job was doing filing work in a doctor's office. Eventually I turned into an all out front-desk receptionist.

And no, it has nothing to do with what I'm doing now. I'm a social worker

My first job was at my local library. My grandmother was a librarian for almost 30 years. Considering I'm running a tutoring center now for a college, I think it was sort of in my field! But, my second job as a cashier at a grocery store was as far from what I'm doing now as you can get. I HATED that job.

My first job was at Genovese (yes it was still Genovese not Eckerd or Rite Aid) it taught me that I need to get my @ss to college so I don't end up like the old ladies still working there. Oh and how to use the big lotto machine register things (they are harder than you think)

My first job was at Dairy Queenn (it was the year I lived in Kentucky) it was actually fun working there, we were in the mall and the people that worked there were a fun time. And i LOVE Dairy Queen

My first job was at TCBY and I worked there for like 3 years. I loved it! No relation to what I do now - promotion for a liquor company.

My first job was working for the D*elia's catalog, taking calls from people placing orders. I was really young (17/18) and the best part of it was that no one else there was in my age range and I got ALL the samples after they were used in the photos on the models! That was when they had TONS of Paul Frank stuff too. Love love love.

ETA: It's of no relation to what I do now; I work in H.R. in the Broadway theatre industry.

my first job was teaching violin, which is something i still do
and although my degree isnt in music it is in education

My first job was when I was 14 working at a summer camp in the 2-3 year old group. It had nothing to do with my job now - I'm an accountant!

My first job when i was 16 was a game operator at Adventure Land . And my first job out of college was assistant media buyer. Neither have anything w/what i do now (a personal assistant) and none of the above jobs will have anything to do w/my next career.....a teacher.
