Sorry folks, somehow I posted the QOTD to the wrong board. Wish I could move it!! Ahh the limitations of LIW LOL

Here it is:

QOTD: How did you find your wedding dress and how many people did you bring when you went shopping for it?

Before I headed to the stores, I bought a million magazines(no exaggeration LOL) & basically got an idea of what style I wanted. To avoid having too many opinions, I only invited 3 people (my cousin and 2 BFF;s) who I trusted for their honest opinions. I made about 3 appts and found 'the one' at the 3rd store I tex tmessaged my mom and sister the dress and they solidified my decision :)

I WENT TO 2 DIFFERNT PLACES AND HAD ONLY MY SISTER,MY MOM AND MY BFF AND I WENT TO BOTH STORES BUT FELL IN LOVE WITH MY DRESS AT STORE #1 BUT BEFORE SHOPPING I BOUGHT SO MANY MAGS AND WENT ONLINE AT GOOGLE IMAGES BUT I AM SO HAPPY THAT I LOVE MY DRESS

I went to three. The wedding center in Commack (TERRIBLE owner/experience, great dresses) Bridal Suite in Centereach (Awesome) and Paradise Bridal in Patchogue (ehh) I went with just my parents and my dad picked out my dress for me

I brought my mom the first time, sister and dad second time, grandmother and mom third, and sisters the last time to order and show them dress I picked out. Only went to 2 store cause I pretty much knew the dress I wanted after trying it on. Lucky #1!!

I brought an entourage of 6 people!! My mom, my 2 sisters, one of my BM's, my 'aunt', and my 'cousin'.

I first tried on the alfred angelo Disney princess dresses at a trunk show and Found ont that was a possibility, but made 3 appointments in one day with the above mentioned crowd. I found a strong possibilitya t the first store but found THE dress at the second! We changed the appt at the 3rd to be a bridesmaid apt only to not confuse the issue, that shop wasn't too thrilled about that, until I said I was interested in buying the dress from them since the locatin was more convenient. But I ended up getting it from the shop I had the best experience at!

Going for my first fitting next week!!!

I found my dress online and went to the store to try it on and loved it. I went by myself since everyone's schedule was to crazy.

I went with my mom to paradise bridal...i was the 5th dress i tried on. weirdest feeling ever because i knew it was the dress as i stepped into it before i even looked in the mirror. I fell in love but didn't buy it. My mom thought i should see what else is out there. I went to Village Bridal and tried on dresses. Every dress i tried on i hated. My mom looked at me and said, the other dress is the one, lets go get it! so we drove to the other place. I put on 'THE' dress and we bought it! I brought my MIL & MOH who is my FSIL to my hallow to hem appointment. Such an amazing experience!

I went a few times to a few different places. I either brought my mom, sisters, or bridesmaids along. I found a dress I loved and showed everyone, they loved it too and my mom REALLY loved it so it was a winner!
