Hey Ladies! Sorry my QOTD has been posted late this weekend I have been so busy! This week was exhausting but lots of fun! Hope everyone had a great weekend too
So heres My Last Question..
1) When you're FH proposed to you did you know it was going to happen or were you totally surprised?
2) Any any of you ladies guilty of snooping around for your ring or receipt or any clues? LoL
**I knew it was coming because we talked about it but I had no idea when, so when it happened I was totally surprised which made it amazing!
**I never snooped cause I love to be surprised however I did see a receipt laying on FHs desk from a jeweler months ago that said something scribbled Set stone but it wasnt enough of a clue cause thats all it said haha...

Well as you know gawf, we looked at rings but I ddin't think we were getting engaged until next Christmas..the only thing that made me think that it might be coming sooner was how FH kept asking me 'Where's your ring??' and pulling my ring finger..he's the worst because he gets so excited he can't keep it inside! LMAO but I was def surprised when and how he did it!!

Totally surprised!!!!!!!!!! (but knew it was coming because we spoke about it)
Snooped, dropped hints, sent pics, found out my ring size 'just incase he wanted to know' LOL but never saw it/knew he had it until he proposed!

We talked about it for years actually. He asked me years ago without a ring bc i wanted to pick it out. We're already like a married couple since we've lived together for years. I was happy though. We always joked that id say no when he asked but i refrained.
I knew it was coming bc i finally picked out my setting and stone. It was a matter of paying for it. Lol.
Too bad im picking out a new setting since ive had problems w mine :(

****A few months before he did propose we did look at rings to see what style looked better on my finger... but still had no clue and than just few days before he actually proposed he had told me 'WE'RE NOT GETTING ENGAGED ANY TIME SOON' and I believed him... so I had no idea when it was going to happen.. I was VERY SURPISED...

****I didn't snoop at all... infact the day he proposed was the same day he picked up the ring!

I knew it was coming because I was with him when he bought the ring. The sad part was that it kept everything in me NOT to look at it while it sat in my apartment. The day he proposed was a total surprise because I thought he was going to wait until the summer of '09...hehe

I knew it was coming because he paid a part of the ring with his debit card and we have a joint account, me being a nut about money i notived that there was a big purchase made at a jewelry store so i asked him about it and he was so mad....
i did not snook at all for my ring however because he told me he gave it to his moms for safe keeping and really it was in our apartment the whole time waiting for the right time

I wasn't that surprised - i had a feeling he was doing it that day, just not the time he did it.
i never snooped around for it b/c i wanted to be surprised - i already had a feeling he was going to do it - i wanted that other element of surprise - plus FH can't keep a secret for the life of him so he was hinting the engagement - silly fool

It was supposed to be a suprise but my mother told me. She was so excited and just couldn't hold it. I was completely suprised because I had no idea!! He took one of my old rings to get my size, lol

I really didn't snoop for the receipt. I saw it because I had to use it to get my ring sized properly. He still has no idea that I know how much he spent on it, lol.

I was surprised until the day of. I figured it would be at the end of the summer/beginning of fall. Instead it was at the beginning of summer

after 10 years i knew it was coming, but didn't think he even bought the ring yet..
that day we fought about it!

I was definitely surprised!!!!!! I had no clue that he had even gone looking for a ring let alone bought one!! Although we had spoken about it a lot, he completely shocked me!
I did not snoop at all bc i LOVE surprises and really wanted to be surprised, and I was!!! I was shaking for about an hour
ETA: even when he was down on one knee i still had no clue what was going on thats how shocked i was...i kept telling him to get up off the floor

I knew it was going to happen b/c i overheard a conversation he was having with my mother! I didnt know when but when he said he wanted to go walking in the park i knew something was up b/c he HATES exercise! haha i didnt know how he was going to do it so when he finally popped the question and i actually saw the ring i started to cry. i did snoop alittle i found a ring box in his car when i was cleaning it and my heart started pounding so fast and i kept saying to myself i shouldnt open it i shouldnt open it but i opened it and it was empty! lol

I was shocked, FH and I had talked about getting engaged but not for another year since our money was going toward buying a house.
We got home from closing and he popped the question with a ring and I was blown away.
No, I didn't snoop because I really believed he wouldn't propose for another year

And I am completely guilty of snooping! I found receipts and everything!! Its hard to hide things when you share an apt with someone!
