I know a lot of us are incorporating small details and personal touches to make our weddings memorable and to put our “stamp” on it. And, in reality, some guests won’t notice or remember any of the small touches we’ve agonized over. So….if you had to choose the most important thing you’d like your guests to notice and be talking about the day after your wedding, what would it be?
Of course, I would love it if our guests would say it was the “best wedding e-v-e-r.” LOL. But, I know that most people talk about the food, the dresses, or the music. What I’d really like our friends and family to take away from our wedding is a sense of how special and important everyone who will be sharing in the day with us is in our lives. Since we’ve already been married in our hearts for a long time (and will be legally married 3 days prior to our ceremony/reception), we’re looking at the wedding as more of a celebration of the life we’ve built together—and the people who share that life with us. If it wasn’t for them, we’d have eloped!
And yeah, if they were to say it was a great party—that would be nice too!
I'm with you on this one! I want people to be like 'wow. they are so in love and wanted to share this with us and thats incredible'
If it weren't for the friends and family (and the threat of my tiny italian mother)... we too would've eloped!

I'm positive that most of the details I obsess about won't even be noticed lol, but I want my guests to walk away thinking it was a great wedding and not that it was a tight budget wedding. Does that make sense? Of course I'm probably the only one worrying about this too but I want my guests to just enjoy the wedding on a whole not look back and think 'well that was a good enough wedding for that price (cheap)'lol

I couldn't have said it better myself!!! I feel the exact same way. I just want people to feel the love between us as well as our love for them! I am hoping everyone enjoys themselves to their max capacity as we are trying really hard to make this such a wonderful event for all to enjoy!
