Are you going traditional or modern for your wedding? Are you going to do the traditional bag for your cards on your wedding day or are you going to do the birdcage or card box?
I'm doing a little of both for wedding. I want some traditional photos and some modern photos. I'm not sure what I'm doing for the cards on my wedding day. I've seen the birdcage and card box and love them both. Is anyone still doing the bag for their wedding?

We are def doing more traditional for the wedding in its entirety.
For pics we are doing a mix of modern and traditional.
My mother and FMIL were talking about the card box yesterday. I like the card box and ill prob end up doing that. I havent seen the bag (they were saying that its really old school Italian!) but I feel like it makes people feel obligated to wait around until you come collect the card OR they will bombard you with cards. The box or birdcage is nice because people pop them right in.

as far as pics it will be a nice mix of traditional and photojournalism...as far as my cards im doing a cardbox!!

We are doing a more traditional/vintage look for the ceremony and pictures but our reception is very modern.
Im not sure what I want to do.Im thinking about just getting an envelope bag but I dont want to go around with it. When people give me cards then Ill just put them in there. Im more worried about who is going to watch the bag. I might give it to my DOC or maybe a close family member.

I will having more of a traditional wedding. I will be using a birdcage my mom made for my sisters wedding. I am hoping to have a few modern elements thrown in someplace.

We are all about the traditional. We have a few modern touches. For example, our invitation wording did not have our parents names on there, as we are paying for most of the wedding. We are using a card box instead of the bag, and our centerpieces will be branches instead of flowers.

We're definitely leaning towards modern. The bag for cards is definitely old school Italian, and a tradition in my family. But I always felt bad because someone (usually the oldest person) basically sat all night guarding the bag, and I don't want it to be anyone's job. So I'm trying to find a modern card box idea that would mesh well with our look. I love the birdcages or old-fashioned suitcases, but they won't work. Maybe an oversized lantern?

We are doing both traditional and modern. Some of the traditional things will be me not seeing FH until I walk down the aisle. Also I believe I will be doing something old, new, borrowed and blue. I plan on having a card box. I will be making it myself. We will be doing both modern and traditional pictures.

I'm keeping it traditional in the sense of thr dances, garter, bouquet etc. We aren't doing traditional ceremony vows, and I'm mixing up the order of events throughout the night
ETA cardbox-- I thik my mom was going to try to make a fire engine one bc FH is FDNY.. I hope she can do it!!!
