Did you join liw as a chance to make new friends or as a way to plan your wedding? Have you gotten out of it what you originally expected to?

I originally joined as a way to help me plan my wedding, but I am making new friends along the way . I've gotten more that I could have ever expected from this website. Anything I could possibly have a question about has been or can be answered here.

I think I joined the website for understanding. I am the only on of my friends that is engaged or has a ever had a serious relationship. Although we click on almost all levels, they just don't really understand my need for planning at this early stage, they thing it's just something you do. So yes, I am looking friends and I have found a great bunch!!!

i had no idea what I was in for when i registered for this webstie...i thought it was just a way to bounce ideas around and see what other people were doing with their weddings...I never in a thousand years thought I would get to hang out with you girls and meet so many awesome people
(and i didnt realize how addicting the site can be and how little work you get done during the day bc your on it so much!!)

I also didnt realize what kind of site it was when I signed up, My cousins girlfriend told me how great it was for ideas, reviews, etc. I didnt realize that you can make friends out of it and learn so many new things,. Im so glad I signed up

i joined to help me out in planning, like finding vendors, and reviews, but an added bonus was meeting a great group of girls to share ideas with!

I joined to get ideas and information about vendors before booking. I am definitely glad that i joined because i love getting to know all of you and talking with all of you everyday

I joined to get ideas and be able to have an outlet to talk about my wedding with other women in the same situation. Now this website has become a part of my daily life. If i'm not around a computer all day, I'm constantly thinking, 'damn I wonder what is happening on the boards.' lol. i look forward to chatting with you gals!

My plan was to lurk and not post.... just so I could get ideas and such, but then I had a couple of questions... and everyone seemed so friendly and nice!!

Now I'm hooked! It's an added bonus to have such a wonderful group of women on the 2010 board. Y'all are the kind of honest I like.... no BS.

I wanted to get ideas and vendor recommendations. I had to idea where to start with planning this wedding. I think I have made some friends along the way!

my original thinking was that i would use it to help me plan, become familiar with the wedding business and help me research vendors.

it not only did that for me but introduced me to great girls that give such great advice along the way as well let me vent. its great to talk to people who are going through the same stuff as me.

I have gotten more help and honest opinions than i could've imagined. i would still be lost if i didn't join.

and as for the meeting part...i would've never have thought i would. you ladies are amazing and so helpful and I thank you for everything!
