interesting question

The main wants are there: Patience, Sense of Humor, Affectionate, Good with his family, Honest

Some stuff that are more minor such as:
Over 6 ft (FH is 5' 11), accent (HOT) and into arts/literature. FH is into architecture so that kinda helped him out

eta: ooo, seeing your list reminded me of a couple more. I HAD to be with a guy who loved animals and children because I planned to have both and FH is a big mush regarding both. That was non negotiable for me

Also - someone who gets along with my friends and family which he does.

One more thing- What I really wanted was 'a big teddy bear inside a manly man.' And it's what I got

I've asked myself this before. There is one VERY BIG thing missing. FH hates sports, he doesn't play, watch or like any!!! That was a very hard thing for me to deal with. My mom says I always do this, but hey he loves me and I love him. He'll even sit through a hockey game if i ask him to!!! :)

I more had a list of what I don't want based off of all the @ssholes I dated prior to FH.

But I can compile it into what I wanted, in no particular order:

-comfortable being naked
-hard working
-good morals
-has a p*nis that works
-kind
-appreciates me and everything that I do
-wants to take care of me even if I say I'm independent
-intelligent
-fun-loving/silly
-motivated
-ambitious
-emotionally secure

Sorry, number 4 is defo TMI

Edited to clarify I got all of the above, except sometimes he is too hard working/motivated, but hey at least he has number 4!

before i met FH

-i had some serious trust issues growing up so i wanted someone who i could trust.
-someone who played sports shallow i know and i never dated someone who didn't
-tall
- someone who can put up with my sh*t
-someone who doesn't bore me i am bored easy so that cut a lot of potential FHs
- have a car and a job no one was mooching off me
-the beach and be outside
-someone who likes to do things but also doesn't mind staying home
-someone who can accept my family they way they are which is nuts

yea that was pretty much all i could think of
FH is most of those he hates the beach but likes being outside well he hates LI beaches but loves Aruba beaches. and were working on the family stuff lol

I'm not sure if I had a list because we met when we were so young. But my mom always told me 2 things, 'its as easy to love a rich man as a poor man' and 'how he treats his mother is how he will treat you some day'. My FH doesn't come from a crazy wealthy family but he is a good saver and thanks to him we are going to have a beautiful wedding and have money for a down payment. The second was what I loved about him in the beginning he was so kind and really would do anything for his mother and sister now it annoys the sh*t out of me hahahah but he treats me amazingly and I really couldn't ask for better.

i totally had a list like that FH is tall, and handsome, not dark though, i wanted the dark ! actually, I was never attracted to anyone who dind't have dark hair b4 FH so it was really wierd, in summer hes almost blonde, but i totally pictured marrying a dark haired guy.
