Good morning everyone! Today's question has to do with your wedding music.

Are you having a DJ or band? What are your 'must play' songs and what songs do you NOT want to hear?

we are having a DJ, I havent put a list together but there arent any songs that I really dont want played.

I have to have them play the soulja boy song for my son!

And the playlist must consist of Hip Hop (New and Old school) Also, a tinge bit of oldies for our parents and their group of friends.

I don't want the cheesy usual (macarena, chicken dance, lol)

I do want a combo of 80's rock and contemporary pop.

I just want to keep everyone dancing!

We really didn't go over this too much yet since we don't have a DJ yet. LOL...
But one song that HE wants to have played for sure is crazy town 'butterfly'... that is one of his songs to me in a non-romantic way. One of his best men told me that FH is planning on playing it and dancing to it to put me on the spot light as a surprise! HAHA... we'll see about that, b/c FH does NOT dance! LOL...

We're having a DJ... the one song I MUST hear is Shout!

It just reminds me of all the weddings I went to when I was little and how that song was always the most fun.

We are having a two man DJ set and we want to hear lots of 80s and Freestyle with some pop and rock and roll. And of course Italian music and oldies too lol

We are having a DJ....def want Bon Jovi-Living on a Prayer, and FH wants Journey-Dont stop Believing. We arent looking for any line dance stuff at the wedding, we arent big on that stuff

DJ. Just started compiling a random list of songs I've heard while driving.

Ummm soo i was really drunk and cha cha came on and i stopped dead in my tracks to get up there and join in... it was actully pretty fun and its the only one that i may allow at my wedding

LOL....Not having the electric slide is NOT an option. That's a staple at any of our weddings. It's like the reception just isn't complete without it. It's funny to see all the different ways to do it. So on my list it stays.

NO group dances (ie electric slide, cotton eyed joe, macarena, etc).

We have very varied tastes in music, so a little bit of everything must be played. (80's new wave, hip hop, reggae, techno, dance, freestyle, etc).

We're having a DJ with live instrumentals, our must plays are disco, barry white, anything from the 80's and latin music as well!!!

And none of those line dancing things, I HATE the cha cha and electric slide, and the marcarena needs to go....as does the chicken dance, I'm having a do not play list...ick!!!

totally agree with you! the only group dance I can tolerate..people look forward to that dance!!!!!!

we are having ebony connections as our dj..we will have oldies, old school hip hop, current hits and tons, tons , tons of reggae and soca!!!!!!

Must play is very mixed....we like all types of music and very alternative music too which we are including

Do not play: any line/group dances, any typical wedding songs, country, house, and I think that is it

im having a dj, i def want like all the bar songs like come on eileen, livin on a prayer lol, etc. i defffffff do not want last dance, chicken dance and thats all i could think of! lol
