Good morning, Ladies!! Happy September 1st! (seriously? it's Sept. 1st??)

So, I just did the Tuesday Countdown and I still have more than 400 days left and that got me thinking...

Part 1: At what point did you (or will you) decide to really get a move on with planning? Part 2: At this point, how many of you are freaking out? A lot? A little?

At this point, I am still coasting through the engagement and trying NOT to realize that my year mark is less than 2 months away. I am hoping that I can have a few more things done before that year mark, so I don't go too crazy when it hits!

1. All of my major vendors are booked... i only have invites to get

2. The reason I booked everything so quickly is so I dont freak out about anything... except money... but for the most part i will be able to relax and take care of the smaller things...

When we got engaged we didn't do anything wedding related since it was the day before christmas eve and we had holiday stuff to do.

Then January hit. I asked FH, 'baby.. would it be ok if we saw maybe 1 or 2 RH's tomorrow??' Little did he know we saw 7 in one day lol. I actually booked my church first since i was told when I could have my wedding (Thanks ET! ) I booked my hall at the end of Feb and just finished booking the last vendor about a month ago. My invitations are done, just need to change a few small things and almost all of our bridal party have been asked.

Epics are in Oct so now i'm just doing std's and getting addresses and stuff. I'm not gonna do much for the next 3 months but once Jan hits i'm going to be a wedding luniatic!!

OMG lol i got a move on to planning the second we were engaged!!!!!!!! LOL

got engaged 12/16/08, had RH 12/27/08 and most major vendors booked by Jan & Feb 08

im nuts....

um....it hits me randomly at all diff times.....now that its september n the summers ending, its really making me nervous cuz schools starting so its no more wedding planning only....its planning, classes, homework, observations, working, etc....

Once we hit 9/10 months out from the wedding, I realized I probably should start booking vendors. So I went on a rampage and booked everything but limos/florist and I'm going to start meeting with them mid-Sept.

We got engaged on Dec 20. By the middle of January, I was head first into wedding planning and haven't come out yet

I haven't really freaked out too much yet......but I'm sure it's bound to happen.

i basically have been planning since a month after we got engaged, but i do a little at a time. I have taken my time on each vendor/task and basically get that done and then wait a little before moving on to the next thing. Its helped keep the stress of planning down and make sure we can get everything done on time.

im not really freaking out yet...sometimes i have freak out moments about whether we are going to save enough $$ in time but other than that i haven't been too bad yet.

I have had a very stress free engagement so far. I think I have only cried over wedding things twice and we are almost engaged 3 months! The big stuff is done and I am moving along on my schedule well. I have a few DIY projects in the works so hopefully I won't stress over them before the wedding. The only thing I really wan tot get done.. that I haven't is book the music... FH and I still can't decide DJ or Band?!!! UGhhh... we don't disagree we just can't choose one over the other. I think it is going to come down to tossing a coin!

August is when I started REALLY planning and yes I am FREAKING out...I want it to get here fast but at the same time no because there is soooo much to do and sooo much money to save.

1. we started looking at RH's about 2 weeks after we got engaged, and from there we moved to the band than the photographer, hair/makeup, hotel block - we are working on limos, stds, honeymoon and my dress.

2. I am freaking a little now because I can't find a dress BUT at the 6th month mark I think I am going to be a loon

1. I just started to freak out about getting things done and I think its because my year mark is coming up.

2. I am very organized so once I get a minute to sit and see what I need to get done i'll be ok!!!

I have a huge to do list with deadlines and I've been meeting them all... so I'm kinda doing things in an orderly fashion. So I haven't felt pressure yet, and I don't have a time where I'm planning to 'get started' b/c I'm pretty much always doing something.

I got going right away... I wanted all major vendors and decisions made...

I'm really not freaking out yet... I feel like I have so much time left. I don't think I'll start freaking out until about 3-4 months before.

i got a lot of stuff booked within the first month of being engaged because i wanted it to be stress free.

i ordered a sample invitation today and it really hit me. i think i'll be ok, but once the holidays hit and i realize that i have about 4 months left, then i'll prob freak out.

I have been taking things slow as of now, but have been making a lot of progress. However, I think January will be my breaking point. When I officially have 5 months till the wedding, the diet will start, the DIY will begin, and the panic will set in :o) FUN FUN!

1. We've had a long engagement and things have been done for what seems like forever and little by little I've been doing the small things

2. Tomorrow makes it 4 months and I'm still not freaking out, so I don't know when the freak out will start

I am trying to get as much done now as possible. Time is flying and I don't want to forget anything or not have time to really think about it or enjoy it. I want to really have fun and take my time with it all. I'm not stressing yet...thankfully. just coasting by, making payments to vendors.
