I SO enjoyed my time this week at BOTW! Thanks again to guitarstikibars for giving me the honor!
So for my last question, I'm asking partially because I'm curious and partly to get ideas.
Are you doing the traditional something old, new, borrowed and blue?
I definitely am, but I'm slacking a little bit in filling in the blanks.
My new is definitely my dress, and my old will be a necklace of my grandmother's that I will pin on my flowers.
Blue, I'm guessing my garter? That won't be too hard.
I am SO stumped on borrowed. My MOH already offered me to borrow one of her beautiful rings, but I honestly only want to be wearing my engagement ring and then my wedding band. I don't want to wear a necklace with my dress, and for earrings I'll be wearing earrings I got from FH.
Can't wait to hear what all you ladies are doing, especially about borrowed!!

I am! My something new will be my dress/veil, something blue will be my Giants Garter, something old might be earrings - I got beautiful drop earrings as a gift for my best friends wedding that I might wear and I'm sure my something borrowed will come from my mom/gma … I haven't decided on that yet.

I don't think I'll be doing this tradition. I figured if I could easily get each one, then great, but that's not the case and I don't want to go out of my way to find things either. I think I'm in the minority though!

My new is my dress my old borrowed and blue is a brooch that will be on my bouquet. Its my grandmothers and when she passed my mom got it and she is lending it to me for my wedding. And its a nice light blue color! I just did something simple! :)

Ooh good question. I am going to have a small blue set of Rosary beads attached to my bouquet for my something blue (bridesmaids dresses are navy blue but that doesn't really count I guess!).
Something old...my grandparents? Haha just kidding. (They're aren't even that old. I'm stumped for this one!)
Something borrowed...my FMIL suggested wearing the earrings my FSIL wore to her wedding. I'll have to see it first as I don't know if it will match my dress.
Something new...I'm definitely considering my dress too for this category!

I'm right there with you. I'm not going out of my way either to get these things. If they cross my path, I'll hop on it lol

something old - i'm going to sew in a part of my dad's shirt or tie into my dress (he passed away when I was 11).
something new - most likely my dress!
something borrowed - no idea yet!!
something blue - either my garter or my shoes, we'll see! i may even do sexy blue underwear or something like that.

Something old: A brooch I got from my grandmother who passed away that I'm going to pin to my flowers.
Something new: my dress, my wedding band, my shoes
Something borrowed: I'm borrowing FSIL's veil (bc I can't bring myself to spend what it costs to buy a veil)
