Hi ladies! sorry this is going up so late, I had my first full clinical day at the psych ward! ah! so okay here it is..
FH and I have discussed having children in the past, what qualities from your side and FHs side would you like your children to have? What qualities do you hope they do not inherit?
FH and I are very self driven, I am hoping my children inherit this since it comes from both sides! FH is also pretty athletic so I hope they inherit that too! Qualities from my side i hope they do not inherit is that my family holds grudges and are not so forgiving! I hate it, i try not to be that way and i hope I can raise my children not to be the same way. From FHs side, his family tends to be narrow minded, I would like my children to be open to new ideas, theories, cultures and opportunities!

FH is very athletic played softball his whole life & I hope our kids get that from him I am very sports retarded no hand eye coordination lol. He is very calm where I am more anxious about things so hopefully they inherit that too. From my side I hope they inherit my family values & the fact that my family is sooo open about everything. We feel we can talk to each other about anything & I hope our kids will feel that way.

FH and I are both athletic - he played baseball his entire life & I played soccer & danced so I hope our children inherit the 'athletic gene' from both of us. He's def. more relaxed than I am so I hope they take after him b/c I tend to stress out ALL OF THE TIME. I'm more of a go-getter so I hope they pick that attribute up.

I just can't wait to have kids! & no matter what gene they take on we will love them just the same

i already know what i dont want our children to have and i'm in fear of - My FH GIANT head!!
OMG its giant and there is no way i am pushing something that size outta me! lol sched c, thank you lol
as for personality traits, hope they are alil more laid back like me, FH tends to snap and freak out to quickly about the stupidest stuff. weare both big into sports so hope they are like that too (which i'm sure they will) and music, i just pray they dont become pop prince and princesses lol i couldnt deal with that lol

I hope they share our ridiculous dry sense of humor and are able to laugh at themselves and we can all be silly all the time. I hope they share our drive to work hard. I hope they share FH's easy-going personality and don't worry so much about everything like I do. I hope they are athletic like me or at least pick something up they love. I also would love it if they have his blue eyes and blonde hair and he hopes they look just like me.
Also-FH wants them to be Jets fans and I want them to be Pats fans. I'm sure he'll win though. His words last night when I mentioned putting our baby in a Patriots onesie...'I don't want to set my own baby on fire..'

ohhh this is a good one...I definitely want our kids to get FHs huge heart and respect for others and his beautiful green eyes, from me i would want our kids to have my love for animals and positive attitude...i definitely DONT want them to get FHs tendency to always be high strung and his massive head! lol from me i def wouldnt want them to have my tendency to be LAZY! ugh. no bueno!

I want our kids to have asian eyes. FH has them and my eyes are small so there is hope! From me I want them to inherit creativity, passion, being left handed, my nose (FH is way too big), and intelligence. From my family I just hope they get alot of diversity and cultural. From FH I hope they get his entrepreneurship, patience, and logic.

i've been telling FH since i met him, we will have to adopt cause 1) he has a GIANT head 2)btwn the fact that we are both nuts and outta our minds our children will be 100% insane!
i'm in fear since there is that old saying your children will be 3x's worse then you are, my mom said she didnt believe that til i came along so i'm in serious trouble lol
