Good Morning Ladies!
Hope everyones trying to stay nice and dry during all of this terrible rain.
I need the sunshine in my life.

Anyway, I ran into the couple that did our Precana the other day, and thought of a question they asked us, it really made FH and I think about what is really important in all of this.....

If you had to give up one of the following which would it be and why: Your Ring, Your Honeymoon or The Wedding

I changed my answer three times, and then decieded that I didnt want to give up any of them, they all mean something too me...I guess thats cheating,even now, months later I'm not sure what to give up. I guess the honeymoon would go and I would just plan another one- but with all the wedding planning, well we deserve it haha

Lets see if you girls do better than I did with this one

I know a lot of you won't agree with me but I'd give up the wedding.

I always wanted a small ceremony with just immediate family and close friends but my wedding is going to huge and I know there will be people there that I don't really know. I feel like it's kind of lost sight of the most important thing - fh and I becoming a family. I'd trade it in for a small ceremony!!

def the honeymoon!!! i've put too mucch time and effort on planning this wedding to give it up. and i would never give up this ring b/c FH worked his butt of for it - plus i just love it too much!!! we always go on vaca so the HM is no biggie for me to give up (but i would never in reality!!! )

honeymoon... i cant wait to get married in front of my family n friends and the ring to me really signafies our start ... we can always go on a kick booty honeymoon at a later date =)

The honeymoon. In fact it wasn't until more recently that we really decided to definately take it. We were going back and forth on whether it was worth it or not.

My e-ring is sentimental because the stone is from my grandmothers e-ring, which was bought by my great grandma, so there is a lot of family history there.

The wedding is a celebration for us and the family, I wouldn't want to give that up.

The Honeymoon. I can take a vacation anytime. The ring is too personal to part with and FH and I are way to excited to celebrate the wedding day with our family and close friends to give that up! It is 2 1/2 years in the making afterall! LOL

Honeymoon. We aren't going on one right away anyway.

My ring represents something he picked for me to show our commitment to each other and it represents that he wanted to marry me.

My wedding is going to be when I actually become his wife and I can celebrate with our families.

100 % agree with you!
I think the ring is symbolic so I would not want to give that up, and a honeymoon is a special time for the new husband and wife so I would still want that. But I could completely do without a big party. Yes it would be nice to have a celebration and I'm very thankful that I do get to have one, but I don't think its absolutely necessary. I think a nice dinner out with family would be just as meaningful! Don't flame me ladies

Honeymoon, others two mean soooo much. Hopefully we'll be a couple who travels all over the place after the wedding anyway. We have our who lives to travel!

I would definitely give up the honeymoon. The ring has so much symbolism that I would never get rid of it. As for the wedding if we couldn't afford a big wedding I would have a smaller one or a ceremony at city hall. I am so looking forward to the wedding and officially being husband and wife

I'd have to agree with the honeymoon too. FH and I have worked wayyyy too hard for the wedding and FH got me the ring that I really wanted.

I can always plan another vacation.

the ring....no question. We are on ring #2, and its going in a box the day after my wedding, only to be pulled out when my daughters ask about it.

My wedding band will never leave my finger.

This is a much harder question than I thought.
My first thought was the wedding because we have been together so long it's like we are married already but I really want the big wedding with everyone there.
My ring is not an option! I love it and it means so much to me because he picked it out all by himself and got it perfect.
The honeymoon is a vacation we both desperately need and are looking forward to so I wouldn't want to give that up either.
I think I will have my cake & eat it too!

Seriously, if I had to chose I think the wedding reception would be it.
