QOTD 9/30/2011

Well September has came and went, time is flying and its almost our year!!

This questions is NWR but i am so excited October is here! It is by far my favorite season, the turning of the leaves, crisp cool air, pumpkin picking, and Halloween . FH and his family doesnt really celebrate halloween but when we first started dating he carved his first pumpkin with me and now we do it together every year. What is your favorite season or holiday? have you or FH introduced any new traditions to each other?

I really love all the holidays... and I love fall! its such a great season!

FH and I introduced eachother to a lot of new traditions since hes jewish and im catholic.

I love mid Oct-December.

We are football fans (J-E-T-S) and I just love cooking for football games and watching sports together. I also LOVE Thanksgiving, like too much. It is my favorite holiday!

FH and I have a very hectic Christmas, but I love it. My parents are divorced and remarried, so in combination with his family, we go 6 places between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I have a few traditions I share with him-we open one gift on Christmas Eve together. His family is Italian so we do the whole Seafood Xmas eve thing, which is a great new tradition for me because I can eat seafood like there is no tomorrow.

Thanksgiving was always my fave holiday! Last year FH and I actually hosted our first at our apt, which was nice!

Every Halloween we each get a pumpkin and carve them together. Although he's an artist so his always looks amazing and mine not so much.

My favorite season is the summer love end of May-August.

My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love giving presents!! We haven't started any new traditions, but I'm sure once we move into together we will.

Since FH and I have been together I've started really loving fall, which I always liked but didn't realize how much! I love when the weather changes, I can wear boots again and drink pumpkin spice everything. We love to just sit back and relax on Sundays and watch football and argue over who has the better team. I love the Christmas season and I love that I brought him home last year so he could be with my family and experience something different.

Although summer is my favorite season I also like the fall.we love to go to haunted houses. I love thanksgiving but fh used to hate holidays but he seems to be liking them more the past few years, I think there growing on him since I like them so much

My favorite season is definitely summer & I'm so sad it's ending lol

My favorite holiday is Christmas though - love watching my little cousin's reaction as he opens his presents.

My favorite season is definitely the fall! I love the weather, love the leaves changing, love the hiking. Plus my Birthday is in the beginning of November!

My favorite holiday has always been Christmas- even when I was single I always put up my Christmas tree & all the Christmas decorations. FH thought at our first Christmas that I over do it but last year he was so into it. We played Christmas music put up the tree together it was great. We decided last year we are going to start a tradition of getting a special oranment each year for the tree that symbolizes that year for us. Last year we got a vacation one since we took our first trip together & I can't wait to get an engagement one for this year

I love the holiday season between thanksgiving and christmas.. My FH didnt not grow up in a close family and they never really did anything 'holiday' related therefore we created new holiday traditions as the years go on. Now that we have a son we also make sure we go pumpkin picking, have a family thanksgiving and go christmas tree light watching and tree cutting. It makes the whole family bond and helps to create memories

I love Christmas! We didn't really start our own tradition, but we bought our own ornaments that represent us and all our pets. When we get a new pet we get another ornament for them. Going to do the same when we have kids.

I am a Christmas *****!!! I LOVE IT ALL...matter of fact, I played Christmas songs yesterday at work!! FH isn't as big into holidays as I am, but he and I know once we start to have a family I am going to create all new traditions and keep some of mine together.

However, since we first started dating, my FH and I always get personalized ornanments for one another as a small gift. I already purchased his two months ago!!! It's so cute....two bears (boy and girl) male proposing and it reads 'Our 1st Engaged Christmas'. Next year we will be married so I wanted to do something for our engagement.

me and FH go nuts for halloween and st. pat's they are our favorite holidays by far.

while costume shopping he joked that when we have a family he's gonna have to take a loan out each halloween for costumes alone lol

since we started living together we started hosting christmas eve which is always such a headache but soo worth it in the end
