What was it about your RH that made you choose it?
For me it was the view of the water and just the whole place being inside a gorgeous park that blew me away, and then the inside of it made me fall in love even more.

It reminded us of my grandparents house and property!! It will be like getting married in their backyard and having my reception in their house! I love the Royalton!!!

There were many things but some include: -Being one wedding at a time -150 min. for a Sat. night (lots of places, their min. was too high for us) -Lots of food options -Near the water, golf course, gardens, and indoor spots for photos. -High ceilings, chandeliers.... it had the 'look' I was looking for.

the amout of food they give for the price we got and the extras sold us but my parents got married there 30 years ago so i thought that was kinda sweet.

i loved the reception room - i wanted a room that was different and i really fell in love with the dome, for some reason i just could see our reception in there..... also, we wanted a place that had a decent indoor ceremony room and we could both picture getting married under JTs skylight.....FSIL had her reception there a few years ago in a different room and everything was great so we knew it was a good place so went for it

We didn't want to get married in your typical Wedding Factory RH. We wanted something different.

Re: QOTD 9/3/08
we loved the grounds and the bayviews. it didn't have all the glitz and glam that a lot of the RH have. we didn't want that bc it's just not us. i also love the character of the turn of the century summer mansion, which was a perfect compliment to our earthy theme and beachy lighthouse ceremony.

We loved the food. FH's grandmothers 75th bday party was there and we'd gone a few months before getting engaged and loved it!
Also, I like how its cozy with the fireplaces and since I'm getting married in the winter it will make such a nice ambiance.
