QOTD 9/9

This one is to make up for yesterday

I know it's early but do you 2010 girls know what song you'll be using for your first dance? If not what are your current contenders?

i put my FH in charge of that since his song collection is 100x better than mine. He's focusing on bon jovi right now....some of his ballads at least.

Not the slightest idea...but I know what song I want for my cake cutting 'Soundtrack for our movie' from Mae
(its a random song but to me it signifies the beginning of my relationship with FH...he made me a cd with it and i was constantly playing the song over and over again)

to be honest, this decision has been harder than choosing a RH, photographer, dj and florist! We thought we came to a concensus but the song we had picked out just doesn't 'speak to my heart' the way other songs do...sooooo, we're back to square one with this.

This is a very hard decision for us also. There are soo many songs to chose from. We have the same tastes in music so we really need to sit down and think about this!

It's definately a plus that you both have the same taste in music. Luckily so do FH & I.. otherwise this would be so hard.

I still am not sure what we are picking but I'm researching ideas.

Anyone that had iTunes check the store under Essentials and go into genres & history. They actually have love songs, weddings ceremony & reception playlists.. lots of ideas.

Or under the My Grooves they have an indie rock love songs & inde wedding.

Just browse through all their collections about weddings, love, slow dance, etc.. you might find something that you would have otherwise overlooked.

That's one of my contenders!! We're not sure if we'll use the original or one of he versions covered by another band. Voltaire does a good cover.... there's so many but sometimes it's best to go with the original.

Unforuntaly we have different tastes in music...for the most part. I'd love to have a country song- there are so many romantic ones out there.

We havent really talked about it. But I think its going to be hard to pick one song!

I was thinking about that one, but FH thinks is too fast for a first dance. So I'm torn between Your Everything by Keith Urban or I Melt by Rascal Flatts.
