QOTD: Anyone have wedding bands chosen? Post pics if available or describe. Are you planning to wear it on same hand as E-ring or not?

I have an emerald cut solitaire and would like to get a simple band -- still working on it. I would appreciate ideas.

these are mine. it was so hard for me to find something. i looked forever. but i'm dead set on wearing them on the same hand!

i think it depends on whether or not you are going to wear your rings on the same hand. if so, then i might go with a simple platinum band. if you are going to wear the band separately, you can go a little more adventurous... a woman i worked with last month had an emerald cut e-ring that looked similar to yours. she wore her band on the other hand, and it was platinum with 4 princess cut diamonds in the center, about 1/2 carat each. it looked beautiful!

i'm not sure if i'll do one hand or both, but either way i think i will get one 'dressy' band with diamonds set in it, as on my e-ring, and one platinum band for every day that has the carved pattern on it from my e-ring. i realize i'm not explaining too well... here is a pic of the pattern to give an idea:

My e-band is an eternity band with a round solitaire in the middle, so I'm going to get a matching eternity band with larger stones to wear with it on the same hand, but I can't use that one for hte cermony, for the ceremony, we're only going to have plain gold ones, bc thats what the jewish law allows

This is sort of my ring, but bigger center stone, and FH wants the eternity band to have much bigger stones than in this picture, I'm not going to argue with him about bigger stones...;)

My E-ring has a princess cut diamond in center with smaller ones on each side.I want my wedding band to be princess cut diamonds all across in a channel setting. I love E-rings and WB on both hand.

ETA: How would a jewelere go about making a ring bigger. I never said anything because my E ring doesn't bother me, but it's almost unbearable trying to take off sometimes. (Forget about in the morning, when my fingers are swollen)..Any clue?

I don't have it yet, but I have an idea of what it is going to look like (my MOH and her dad have already picked it out apparently - lol). I think it's going to be 4 smallish princess cut diamonds, to go with my princess cut solitaire. Kev's will probably just be a plain platinum band...

ETA I plan on wearing it on the same hand.

I don't, my ring is different, it has diamonds going all the way around, so FH wants to get bigger stones on the eternity band, and I know he wants to surprise me with it, bc normally we would have just gotten plain platinum wedding bands matching each others...but when he gives it to me, I'll take a pic...

The bands I tried with mine rub against each other -- I think this might be an emerald problem?

I got mine last Valentine's Day. I fell in love with it and bought it. It's just seven diamonds, a little over a carat t.w.

I have a radiant cut ring which is very similar to the emerald cut and I chose a simple band. Here are pictures of my rings. The picture of my engagement ring is not quite right but I'll keep looking for a better one and update if I find it.
I even put a picture of my FH's ring. Mine is the first smaller one and his is much larger.

Mine is the matching band to my ring. It is antique style, half band of little diamonds. WG

His is WG... brushed metal with shiny stripes in it... i think

We bought ours, do not have them yet, no pics but mine matched my e-ring. FH got a Christian Bauer concave platinum ring with a hint of rose-colored gold in a circle around the ring. I cannot wait to wear them!

I have a round stone with tapered baguettes on the sides. I am planning on an eternity band for my wedding band and I plan to wear them on the same hand. Haven't tried any on yet, so I don't know how it will look.
If I do get an eternity band, I will also get a plain band for the ceremony which I can also wear when I don't want to wear all diamonds.
