QOTD: April 24th, 2011

Happy Easter. Sorry for the late post. I have two questions one semi-serious and one fun question for today.

1) How important is religion to you in your relationship and marriage and what religious traditions do you want to continue with the family that you are building with your FH?

2) Since it's Easter, I tend to think of candy. Which candy would describe you and your FH's relationship?

1) I am more of spiritual person than a religious person, we were both raised Christian (I'm Baptist and he's Lutheran). I would love to find a non denominational church for us to attend as a couple and we will celebrate Christmas and Easter with each other and our future children. Although not the religion aspects of the holidays, I will dye eggs and have an easter egg hunt like my grandmother did and of course I will do the the Santa thing like my parents did.

2) I say our relationship is Almond Joy since it is a little nutty at times but always blissful.

I was raised Catholic, but don't practice, and FH was raised Methodist, and he also doesn't practice. So religion really doesn't mean much in our relationship. We don't plan on having kids, so we aren't worrying about what we would raise them!

FH is Catholic, but he doesn't practice. I am Jewish. We're having an interfaith ceremony so that both of our faiths are represented. Our children will be raised Jewish.

The candy that would describe our relationship best is Sweethearts. FH and I are always doting on one another and there seems to be an endless supply of I Love You's and infinite compliments. It reminds me of the messages on those candies.

Both FH and I are Jewish. We will have a traditional ceremony and raise our children Jewish.

I'm not sure what type of candy would describe us - lol. I'll have to think about that one and maybe edit this post!

I am Jewish and FH is Catholic. We are having a Rabbi perform a reformed ceremony that will honor our union without offending the faith. We have a son and he is being raised Jewish.

I was raised catholic, he was raised lutheran both of us dont really practice. However our children will be raised catholic and FHis absolutely cool with it.

As for the candy:
Lindt Truffles: We've got the thick but sweet exterior but inside we're a bunch of mushes.
