QOT*D ~~ APRiL 25, 2009

well, i got to get up super early to go take a praxis test at 7:30am

so, im posting my question now!!

So, after you all get married, do you plan on staying put in the same area you are now or do you plan on moving to a completely different area?? why or why not?? where are you going to go??

as you all know, im from PA, and from a pretty small down.. FH & I plan on staying put. We both grew up in this area and we absolutely love it. We dont wanna move! Everyone that comes up here to go to school says how boring this area is and blah blah blah, and people make fun of me when I say im never leaving. but, we love it & we plan on growing old here

We just bought a house last year, so we will stay put for a while

I really didn't realize you live in PA? Heard today that their divorce rate is 30% less than in other states. LOL.... just interesting.

FH and I are staying where we are in Brooklyn for a while. We both really love it here, the convenience, etc. We'd def consider other places though.

I would like to move back to Brooklyn, but surprisingly I started loving Westchester... So, I would like to stay put just move to another, a bit bigger, apartment.
Our lease is ending at the end of Feb, so we will see what to do as it is going to be before the wedding, might stay another year in the same place.

FH and I are both from Western Nassau County. As much as I hate Long Island and Nassau County especially because of how much it costs, we will stay in this vicinity because I would like to be close to my friends and family. If all my friends and family moved with us to another state, then I would definitely do it!!! It's ridiculous how much it costs to live on Long Island

we just moved and bought a house in CT....it is difficult moving away from friends and family but i'm starting to like it here.

We are staying in Bayside for a few years- then plan on moving out to Greenport to live on the beach

i live in queens and fh lives im middle village. so when we get our house it will be somewhere in middle village. that area is nice and quiet.

we are going to stay pretty much in the bayside/flushing area where we both live now... after a few years or when we buy a house i dont know but we'll probably still be close by

We are going to stay around for a while...I dont think I would be able to live too far away from my parents. (I see what my mother is going through with my grandparents living upstate and with my gransfather being sick, its tearing her apart that she cant be up there with them to help...)

We'll be staying right here. We just bought our house last summer - August 10th will be one year in here. So we're not going anywhere anytime soon.

we're probably gonna stay on LI for a few years.. but if we ever want to buy a house we're probably gonna have to move off the island

For us, it really depends on our jobs. FH can get transfered at any time so we have not thought about buying a place until that is decided. Id like to stay where we are in Westchester and buy a house, but we will see.

FH's job requires that he live in NYC and all of our family is here, so we'll be staying

We will be moving, but we'll stay in the area for now. Our parents are here, so we will stay close to them for the first year or two and then look for a real home.

we'll prob be staying in brooklyn bayridge/dyker area

fh grew up here and he loves it, and i have no complaints lol

FH grew up in Baldwin/Freeport. I grew up in Merrick. We would like to live in that area or over by where we live now (Bethpage)

FH got a new job starting in June and he may have to work far from home so after the wedding w emay look at a place closer to Queens
