The vacation can include family, friends, or FH......
For me it was a family trip to Arizona for a cousin's wedding. We went for Christmas and came home Jan. 2nd. We saw Sedona and Tombstone and had a blast seeing family we never really get to see. FH did not come with us but he did call me at midnight New York time on New Year's Eve and midnight Arizona time too

This is kinda dorky, but when I was a kid we used to go camping once a year, usually for about 3 or 4 days. One summer vacation the entire family (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) took off for what seemed like a month, but what was probably really only 2 weeks, and we campground hopped. It was AMAZING! We went so many different places and had such a great time!
FH did something similar with his ex-wife. They had an old VW van, left their jobs behind, and traveled the country.
I hope that at some point we can do the same thing!

FH and I went 2 years ago with 4 of our friends (it was a couples only resort) and I never had so much fun and I was never so relaxed on a vacation. We spent majority of the days together, then we did a girls only/guys only day, and then 1 day for each couple to have to themselves. It was just such an easy going trip with no plans which is what I really loved about it. There was no set schedule, no where you had to rush to. The only we had to do was just relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
It's because of all those reason that FH and I are going back there for our honeymoon because that's exactly what we want our HM to be like - no obligations, no rushing, no sightseeing, just pure relaxation.

Oct 2007 FH and I, my two brothers and our friend went to Miami for a few days for the west indian carnival and then to key west for another couple of days. It was the best time ever, we rented scooters to get around the island. Great party island!!!

August 2007 - Cruise to San Juan, Grand Turks, and St. Thomas.
It was a 10 day cruise with my family and FH. It was soo relaxing and so much fun!!

Mexico 2006, FH and I went to puerto vallarta with my sister and her now husband and stayed at an all inclusive. It was soooo much fun and we had a great time!

hmm there are 2 -
First was spring break - March 2004 - went to New Orleans w/ the girls from college. Stayed at my friends house who lived there and we did a ton of stuff. We ate, we drank, we saw the sights - even headed down to the Gulf Coast for a day/night. It was an amazing trip.
The other is when FH went to Hershey, PA. We had SO much fun just being kids. I dont really do amusement parks but i went on 2 rides with him which is a big deal for me. We did the chocolate factory, had nice dinners, did some shopping and it was 4th of July weekend so we watched fireworks in the park - it was great!

this was FH's & my first trip to the caribbean and it was so gorgeous there! It was our college graduation gift to ourselves and we had so much fun!! Wish I could go back right nowwww

First one has to be disney in 2009. It was the first big trip I took with FH, and we had such an amazing time. We'd go to the parks in the morning, and spend the rest of the day at the pool sipping away on frozen alcoholic yummy-ness. All we can talk about now is how much fun we had and when we can go back.
Second is Maine 2002 with my best friends. We rented a motor boat, and snuck at 36 pack with us (we were only 16 lol), and had the time of our lives up there. Met so many nice people that we still talk to nowadays. We found this 'graveyard' and went exploring and found a grave from the 1700's. It was pretty interesting! We went antique shop hopping, sang karaoke at this dive-hole bar and just had so much fun exploring. We plan to go back this summer!

definitely Disney in 2003 w FH.
We stayed at the Coronado springs and took the Disney buses to all the parks. The restaurant rocked so much that we came back to the hotel almost every night to eat there and have frozen margaritas. :)
We did go to both Universal parks and loved them as well.
It cost us a small fortune, but it was so worth it. we had so much fun together.

i would have to say Destin, FL last summer. My sisters, FH and sister's BF went to visit my brother and we had a blast just playing drinking games, beaching it and clubbing it. good times

Both disney : the first was with my sisters and my aunt and we stayed for 10days and had soooo much ( and my parents payed for it :D ) We really got to bond with our little cousin.
then the other Disney trip with FH , my sister and her husband was awesome too. It was our first real vacation together.

My favorite vacation was with FH a couple of summers ago on a cruise to Bahamas and then a few days in Miami.
We just had SO much fun just relaxing and eating and exploring. One day we went to Alantis and rode all those crazy rides, another day we docked on a small island where we waded in the water and found all this wildlife like huge hermit crabs and huge conchs. I'm a huge nerd and love that stuff lol.
We also got the cruise for free because of FH's points so it allowed us to be a little less stressed about money and splurge in certain areas too.
It was also the last vacation we took since saving for the house/wedding so maybe I'm extra nostalgic!!

it was actually last year in september when we went to disney. it was the first time we went away for a really long period of time (10 days) before then we were always going away for long weekends everywhere. it was such an amazing time - wait for the corny line - it was truly a 'magical' time!

FH and I haven't really gone away together much yet, but we are going to Ocean City MD in june!! So I have 2 favorite vacays, one was a cruise to canada with my family, the canada part was eh, but the cruise was so much fun, there was so much to do! The other favorite is atlantis in the bahamas, once again sooo much to do, and it was soo beautiful there and funn!!

October 2009 - Coronado Island. It was my first adult vacation with FH. I had never gone away somewhere as an adult without my family before. It was so much fun. The Hotel Del was something out of a fairy tale. The weather was perfect, the town was adorable. It was also the vacation where we got engaged So that has a lot to do with it being amazing. I can't wait to go back for Memorial Day weekend!!

May 2009. FH and my first vacation together ( after 7 years) We went to Disney. It was his first time ever and just the amount of fun we had and the look in his eyes of pure childhood was amazing. It was the most amazing vacation i had ever been on!

i would say all my vacations, lol but last year my mexico vaca with fh because we got engaged!!! but i did enjoy all my years of vacations with the fam. one in particular was upstate cabin... my whole fam got drunk by the campfire and told crazy stories! ill never forget that vaca!

i have 2....
my first fave vacation was spring break in myrtle beach with my bff- we literally had the time of our lives. we partied and had a blast, but it was one of those college drinking trips so i can't say that was my absolute fave as a responsible adult
last summer, FH and i went to newport for a long weekend and it was incredible! we had perfect weather, we ate great food, took a sailboat ride in the harbor- it was awesome! this sounds corny, but we really grew as a couple that weekend so it will always be near and dear to me
