No, but I'm wroking toward it. First I have to graduate college, then save some money, then grad school, and then I'll be in a much better position

Yes, I do love my job. A little too much sometimes--there is always something else I can do, and at times I think it's cutting into my time with DH.
It took me awhile to get to this point. I was working in another field I had grown to hate. Around the time I turned 30, I went back to school and changed careers. It was rough financially for awhile, and I still feel my field does not compensate appropriately, however I love the work, and that is worth a lot.
For those of you who are not happy, ask yourselves what things are important to you about your career, are there other fields similar to yours that you might enjoy more? These were the questions I asked myself, and then I talked to people in the fields I was considering. There is usually some trade or professional organization, and I found people were usually very happy to discuss their career with me. Good luck!

Not sure. I make great $$ but dont picture myself doing it for the rest of my life.

I think I am really good at what I do, but I feel underappreciated, which makes me resent my job. Hopefully once I finish my doctorate more doors will open up for me.
I would much rather be a foot and hand model. I've got great hands. Seriously. They were in a Kitchen Aid ad once. It was harder than it sounds, because I had to keep my hand absolutely still on a blender for hours, but I felt it was a calling for me.

not at all . i went to school for restaurant management and i am in the restaurant field now and i hate it. i have been doing it for almost 10 years.
a few years ago i went back to school and studied language and just completed my MA in TESOL. but i am not certified here, but rather in australia. soon i will be doing what i want, i just have so much going on with the wedding and moving in 8 months to australia so after that i wil hopefully be where i want career wise.

I have a JOB not a career...but atleast I get paid every week and like the people I work with. I don't know what I want career wise....

I don't even consider myself IN my career yet!! I got out of college and stayed where I was working bc they gave me a promotion, now 4 years later and I'm still here!!!!!!!! Fortunately tho, this is where I met FH so I really shouldn't complain!!
But I really need to get out of here and into my field!! That's the next step after the wedding!!

im doing exactly what i wanted to do i cant say i LOVE it- but i knew what i wanted to do and i knew where i wanted to go with my career and im making it happen
its not the job of my dreams and i dont wake up excited to work, but i expected this

I am so fortunate to be in the position I am in. I am a partner in a Title Agency and have been for 3 years now. I love what I do and couldn't picture myself doing anything else. To me, there is nothing better than working in Real Estate.
