Hi Everyone!! ok. So my question is...

Has anyone just thought about not doing it? background: I was married when i was 18.. he died when i was 27. 6 months later i was remarried and happy for 10 years.. when i was 38 i got divorced. I had never been on my own til i was 38. I had to learn to pay bills, balance a checkbook, live on my own. I have done my own thing and dated, ect.. for the past 6 years and i like it, ( i have been with my FI for 5 years almost but still come and go as i please , pay my own bills, ect...) I am 5 months away and am having nerves about giving that up. I don't need to get married, I'm good. I love him endlessly and will never be without him..
So my question is : Have you had second thoughts about just leaving things the way they are? or nerves about things changing?

Personally I think that our lives will only get better from here. We have been living together for a while and have been happy with the ways things are, but we are ready to start a family and have kids soon.

Never second thoughts about getting married, but second thoughts about spending all this money! Sometimes I think 'lets just go to city hall'... but getting married in the church is important to me.

I was also married once. It actually lasted 2 months. We had been togehter 8 years. Then I learned everything about him was a lie.
Now I have been with my FH 10 years. It took a long time for me to be ready again. Yes, I have had second thoughts. He actually just got sick so the wedding planning is kind of on hold. We have to make a decision to go to the courthouse and do something small or wait for him to get better to have a big wedding. My nerves are definately here right now!!!
