Good morning lovely's!! I wish I had a nice cold corona in hand right now, but unfortunatly, I'm at work saving the world from the swine flu :o)
So here is my qotd: When you met your FH, when did you know you were going to marry him? did you know right away or did you date for awhile?
I have to say that I knew right away that I was going to marry Anthony, don't ask me how I knew, I just did! He is such a great person, and my parents loved him right away too (they always had something to say about every single one of my other BF's!)

it wasn't love at first sight for me, but I knew he was different than any other guy i had dated before. It took me a couple of months to know for sure (which is still quite soon), but my family fell in love with him right away

It took me probably a year or so since FH was younger than me i didn't think he would want to jump into marriage. Then my father passed away and FH was there every step of the way being there for me and my mom i knew he was the one.

You would never know it by the way I talk sometimes, but I really do love my FH, more than anything in the world, probably too much, which is why I get so angry and frustrated at him at times. I just knew right from the moment we met because I didn't have the desire to go looking for greener pastures. In the past, when I was with somebody on a date, my mind would wander thinking about the next person I would meet, but once I met FH I didn't think about that anymore. We may argue and bicker and fight, but ultimately I do still love him, and I do still want to marry him, and I know that we are perfect for each other and can learn a lot from each others differences.

I knew it from the first date! He says he did too. He even told the story in pre-cana the other night how he knew it the second he met me. Makes me love him even more.

Looking back on it, I DID know very early on that we were going to get married but didn't verbalize it to anyone. We were set up by his best friend and one of my best friends (they went to law school together). I couldn't be happier about how we met... there's just something special about having loved ones know you so well wanting you to be happy.... In fact, after we started dating, we realized that our parents knew each other, too! My parents ADORE him (I joke that they'd take him over me! ) We started talking marriage early on -- like only a few months into our relationship -- which seems like a short time but it felt so natural. We have had a relatively short relationship and engagement (we'll be together 2 years and a few months when we get married) but it's hard to imagine my life before FH entered it.... Sorry I am laying on the mush today!

I can't say that I knew that I was going to marry FH when I first met him, but I definitely knew there was something special about him and that he would be a big part of my life somehow. I loved him pretty much right away because he could make me laugh til it hurt for hours on end. When we first met, I was working at Manhattan Mall from noon-midnight Friday-Sunday and it S U C K E D!!!!!!! I had to commute over an hour to work at Steve and Barrys where I'd be running around like a chicken with my head off!! It was the absolute worst job I've ever ever had. I would usually see FH on Thurs. nights and it would help me get through the weekend. I don't think I would have survived those weekends without him! Sometimes I have to remind myself of how lucky I am that I actually get to marry him!!!

We knew within about 2 months..
On both of our ends, we had found what we were both looking for...and it all just clicked. And both of our families knew it also.

knew almost right away and def within a month. . he moved back to NY from arizona after four and we got engaged less than 6 months from when we met. . so you could say we moved fast. . but we are both in mid 30's and just knew and were like WHY wait?

I knew there was something special about him before our first date....we met in person but became email friends first. I would live for his letters, they always made me LOL and smile.
On our first date, his eyes were the kindest and most sincere I had ever seen. While he was hilarious, handsome and intelligent...it was the raw innocence in his eyes that captured my heart. A couple of weeks later when I saw his reaction to meeting my dog- I KNEW he was the one. I had been waiting for the sign and watching him drop to his knees to hug and kiss my dog was it.

i was only 18 so i at first just thought it was 'puppy love' but i realized very quickly on that i wanted to be with danny forever !!!

I definitely didn't know right away... we were friends for 2 1/2 years before we ever had a moment and I broke up with him (twice). But when we were broken up I spoke the drunken truth. 'I would never get back together with you, unless I knew I was going to marry you.' When we got back together I already knew.
