Do you have a Groomzilla/Momzilla,etc, or do people think you are a BRIDEZILLA! And what do they do that makes them this way.

Well, I have both a momzilla and of course a Groomzilla. I won't get into heavy detail about my mom b/c well, I complain about her antics enough, but FH is so the Groomzilla.

It was attack of Groomzilla last night say for instance. I noticed that FH has a specific idea of what he wants this wedding to be. So we figured, since we were on a roll already with the wedding stuff, that we would settle on our wedding song. Well, we should never had did that. Because FH totally tried to take over on it and complain about every song I choosed. Oh and at the florist earlier, I was completely yes dearing him because he was spilling ideas about what he wanted for the guys!!! Ohmigod and if thats not enough, how Fh and my mom fight over who picked the colors first for the weddings- He says he did and she says she did...
And he gets so into it.

Do you remember the episode of True Life, We're Getting Married? Remember that couple from Howard Beach? Ok, remember the grooms shyt fit when the limo was running late and he was screaming like a mad man in the phone...(YOUTUBE!!!!)
Ok now that is exactly my FH. And it makes me laugh. I am so nominating him for Bridezilla...

groomzilla is definitely a no...

momzilla is in the making there are some things that she definitely wants HER way..and some things we dont agree on..but i love her to death for paying for my wedding so if she wants to be a momzilla shes allowed

as for me being a bridezilla, a little. I have a vision & thats what i want. i want things my way. afterall, its my day.

Groomzilla - CHECK
Bridezilla - SOMETIMES
MOGzilla - CHECK
MOBzilla - no way, no how, never ever!!
FOGzilla - he is normally a 'zilla
FOBzilla - no way, unless his baby girls' feelings are hurt, then WATCH OUT MAN!!!!

btw, I was wrong, they were from Staten island not Howard beach... my bad!!!

I love that episode! It still cracks me up when I see it... all I see is my FH acting like that

My Mom is pretty easy to deal with when it comes to the wedding. But then again, we havent had the guest list conversation...and that's when she is going to freak. I want to cut 1/2 her guests!

FH is not a groomzilla at all. He's been so easy...involved...but not overly opinionated about anything...and let's me have my way in the end.

Same here for me. My mom always told me I'd be a bridezilla, but I think I've been ok so far.

FH is definitely NOT a groomzilla. He lets me have whatever I want.

My mom, definitely NOT a momzilla. But FH's mom definitely has the potential to be momzilla-in-law. Not so much that she's controlling everything, but she's the queen of the guilt trip. When she found out about our wedding date (the one we put on the registry just so we could register), before we even booked the church, she thought she was the last to know. She called us up and left this nasty message for us. Turns out, as she was calling, we were on our way from the church to her house to let her know we had finally officially booked a date and she was actually the FIRST to know!
