LOL my ex didnt pull it up either and thank g-d he had good aim too..but just once out of the blue he did pull it up, left it up..and i woke up in the middle of the nite to pee went in to the dark bathroom and of course little michi ended up in the toilet bowl!! LOL NOT A FUN SWIM :)

DH always puts the seat back down
Though I will say this much (and I'm sure I will get the other ladies angry with me...) I never understood why ladies got so worked up over this! Is it SO HORRIBLE if they leave the seat up? I guess other things just bother me more
I grew up with a Dad and a brother who NEVER put the seat back down, and really I never thought twice about it.. I just put the seat down myself!!
Now on the other hand if you don't replace the toilet paper when its done, there's BIG trouble in our house

someone once told me..y cant the seat stay up and the girl always puts it down,,,who says its correct with it always being down...food for thought...lol

I just think it looks ugly. I like the cover down too.
FH puts it down, as did my father & brither, so its never been an issue for me.
However, the guy that broke into my apartment left the seat up!
at work, the cleaning lady leaves the seat up after she cleans & for a sec I forget & think I guy was in the ladies room.

Both my son and hubby put the seat back down. Why would it have a lid if was supposed to be kept open??
Ironically my sister always leaves it up, as does my dad and brother, and now my sister in law. Am I strange to want it down?

I had an ex pull that one on me....my answer: It's a matter of percentages. Women need it down 100% of the time, men need it down 50%. SO PUT IT DOWN!!!!
FH has slipped up a couple of times, but he's usually pretty good about it.

FH NEVER did,, and now I'm training him. At my house he does 90% of the time. At his place, the odds are not so good. When we're living together it had better be 100%. I really think it IS horrible. I'm extreme. I wake up FH out of bed if I try to go to the bathroom and the seat is up. I make him get up to put it down. THAT'll teach him to leave the damn thing up. He is getting better.

DH puts the seat down and we both always close the cover - I read the most disturbing/disgusting thing about how far things spread when the toilet is being flushed.
