just goes to show ya' that there are people who are worse than you out there when you feel alittle bit of the 'zilla coming on... I would never do that to my girls- how shallow can you really be?

my BM's would laugh in my face and not be in the wedding. I have a lot of respect for people and if they want to have short hair, or blue hair, that would be just fine!

The contract is just crazy.

I would NEVER EVER do something like that! I was listening to z100 this morning too, i couldn't believe that someone would actually do something like that.

As for the contract, its just ridiculous.

its a really tough decision....b/c on one hand these people are supposed to be your best friends or closest family so their looks shouldnt matter.....but on the other hand your spending 1000's of dollars on photos that may be ruined in someone looks ridiculious.....i certainly would never make them sign a contract, but i should hope that they have enough respect for me & FH, our families and the honor of being apart of our wedding to make their best effort to make sure they look appropriate that day.

I would never kick them out. I did ask them not to cut their hair off but, that is about it. My girls are all different shapes to begin with.

Did her girls sign it?????

yesss they did...

Okay so I read this post and though it was ridiculous to make up a contract.......but apparently not only did this CRAZY woman make up a contract but she got her loonie bridesmaids to sign it!?!??!!?!?!?!?!?

I guess thats how they do things with each other. You have to think the woman is nuts but the bridesmaids that signed it have got to be a little crazier for taking her seriously.

I do agree with Mrs.BtoB with this 'i should hope that they have enough respect for me & FH, our families and the honor of being apart of our wedding to make their best effort to make sure they look appropriate that day.' but I think if you are close enough to the people you picked you should be able to express yourself and not sign a contract!

WOW!!! Def. not. You want someone in your party bc of your relationship with them. It's about the bond and the trust you share with someone, not their look.

I would never ask someone to step out of the bridal party because their appearance changed. i think thats crazy

i would never ask any of my bridal party to step out of my wedding due to their appearance. i chose these girls because they mean a lot of me and i want them by my side on the most important day of my life. i also wouldn't ask them to sign a contract. i don't care what they look like, i just want them there.
my sister is going to try to have kids soon. i wouldn't care if she is pregnant for my wedding. i want her there no matter what size she is. she is my maid of honor and my best friend.

thank you! i dont mean to sound bridezillaish, i have on bridesmaid who thinks shes skinnier than she is (shes not fat) but always shows a lot of cleavage....i think theres a way of going about avoiding issues like that with the right approach, signing a contract shows right off that not only do you not trust their judgement on appropriateness, but is simply a slap in the face. if you have to question that their appearances could pose a problem then that bond is not very strong for you to have to doubt them like that. people are crazy, i wonder how true radio talk is. its probobly one of their own that call up with a ridiculious comment just to get the listeners going and to call in and argue

Ummmm. NO! You ask someone to be in your party because you want them to be there to share in your day NOT because of what they look like.

OMGoodness . . . NO NO NO, I would NEVER ask anyone to do such a thing. The girls I ask to stand by my side on the most important day of my life, are there because they are the most important girls in my life. No matter what they look like, or how their appearance changes over time has nothing to do with it. That is the most self-centered thing someone could ever do. Anyone who goes this route is better off not having a bridal party
